The whole "Scottish vote" is a myth. Scottish people don't always vote for the people you would think. I voted for Rhydian in the original X Factor, because of his voice. Leon went on to win, but had a decent voice too. Given the population of the UK, we Scots are outnumbered by more than 10:1, no matter what we do. The voting app gives us 5 votes at no cost - after that we have to use our phones at extortionate rates. Nobody does that. Even with the app votes, the Scots couldn't vote enough times to keep Emily in, no matter how much they want to.

Personally, I think Saara will win. She deserves to. She commits herself wholly to the song, and does a great job. I think, being the only person who was not from the UK put her off to a shaky start, but she's shown that she is not only versatile, but gets a lot of enjoyment out of doing what she does. I'm not saying the others don't also do this. The weakest last night for me was Matt, but that may be down to song choices - he was better in some of the previous weeks. I'm not a lover of bands on X-factor, however 5 After Midnight are doing great. What I really hate is those bands cobbled out of some of the rejects, but then that's how One Direction came about, and who could criticise the idea of taking some young guys to make a band, as their rise was spectacular at that time?
