Oti is a brilliant choreographer
I really wasn't sure how she was going to choreograph a tango to THAT music but somehow she made it work imo. I think that they would have been excellent if they had a decent tango song but I still found her and Danny's routine tonight enjoyable ; not perfect by any means but enjoyable. I loved the choreography.

Yes, I think she was handed a poisoned chalice when asked to make a tango out of a disco song, but she created a recognisable, if slightly frenetic, tango. I particularly appreciate her choreographing at least 90% of the dance in hold, unlike some of the other supposedly-ballroom-but-apparently-showdance routines tonight *coughKevincough*

She is a cut above the rest - puts the likes of Janette and Natalie (this year only) to shame.
She makes ANYTHING work...Danny is truly blessed to have her this year. |

Love her work, every week, and Danny does it justice.

Four words - top of the leaderboard (regardless of whether you level the boring 'overmarked' claim at Doti or not).

Flashy,but lacks grit.
Briefly entertaining, but makes no lasting emotional connection. |

Too frantic all her routines are like that, there is too much going on.

Not a fan of the tango this week but generally speaking she has been superb. Her samba was sublime imo.

I've really enjoyed Oti's choreography & last week's samba is one dance I'll never forget; however, I didn't enjoy this week as it was too busy & left me confused.

She makes ANYTHING work...Danny is truly blessed to have her this year. I do think even Oti couldn't manage to successfully shoehorn a Tango around that music- and if she couldn't I doubt anyone could. She did really well considering though and it was still very entertaining. |

I think Katya also did superb choreography this year. For me, Oti and Katya were the standout pros of this series.

I thought it was a complete mess and barely recognisable as a tango. Flashy show dance, fine, but why are we all pretending it was anything to do with ballroom?
