Do you think Nicole is giving Matt safe songs
It seems every week that Matt is singing a safe song so he is guaranteed to go through each week. It is like Nicole wants him to reach the final and then she can find a song for him which is a bit different. I would like Nicole to give him a song where he is challenged like what Sharon does with Saara because playing it safe is not going to help him if reaches the final
I have a feeling he might end up in the bottom two this week |

I think the song choices were decent this week. He could have had a moment with the Jessie Ware song. The way they told him to sing it though was just terrible- especially the second half. It's not his fault. He definitely has the voice to pull it off. Nicole has been an awful mentor. With the right song choices and arrangement, he could have won this easily.

I don't think Nicole has done a particularly good job with Matt. Most of his song choices have had me scratching my head.
Sharon has, bizzarely, done a decent job with Saara. She insisted on Saara ditching the daft routine she had planned the week she sang the Titanic song for example, which probably saved her. |

I don't think Sharon is looking to 'challenge' Saara at all. She just gives her massive songs that are incredibly popular. All she needs is to have a half-decent stab at them. Both performances this evening were okay, yet feeble to say the least when compared with the originals.

Saara is able to sing pretty much any song they give at her, regardless is it's big or not. She's already established and been trained vocally more than the other contestants. She can pull of a decent performance. I personally don't like her voice though and I don't think she'll ever be a huge recording artist. She'll go into theatre most likely.
Matt is just starting out, he can only perform well if he has been given good vocal coaching and songs that suit him. He still needs a few more years and he will be amazing. |

Matt went to stage school, was part of a boyband that had a decent following and has done musical Theatre....not exactly just starting out!
D&B preforming arts school is hardly the best in the country, in fact it's awful. Saara's actually competed in talent competitions like the X Factor before. She knows how it works. |
