Are you starting to get bored with Matt Terrys singing
Is it me or is Matt singing the same every week. It is like he has found the formula to get through each week is
Pick a decent song And Try and sing like Sam Smith |

I've been bored of him since day one. Look, he is a good singer but there is no umph about him

I actually really like his voice - he has a great range and usually I love male singers who can sing in falsetto. And I like HIM! But there has been one too many like him on these shows and they never last long. Like someone said, he just needed to show a bit more "oomph" and show what kind of style of songs he would have produced after the show. Gotta hand it to Honey G, she did that. And she will be successful because of it.

No, I've liked him from the start. He can't change the way he sings..
As I've said, he just needs some decent vocal coaching and he'll be amazing. He has everything else. The looks, the personality, the stage presence.. (he could also improve on the dancing) |

He's getting dull and predictable. Nothing exciting about him whatsoever. Once you've seen a party trick, it gets very boring. The falsetto pops up in every song. He constantly looks into the camera. He peaked when he sang Writing's On The Wall. I still think he will win though.

He mainly performs by staring intensely down the camera and waving his left arm around a bit. Dull.

I was bored of him after week one, just another Joe, Leon, Ben, Matt C. The good looking dull male that will win based on looks.

Matt Cardle was hardly a pin-up. And vocally, Matt Terry couldn't even begin to lace his boots.

I don't think he's picking the right songs at all and whatever he does choose he sings like the original. He needs to put some personality into his performances. Hes definitely lost momentum.

I'm another one who has never had any interest in him to lose. I find his voice very thin, the only thing he has is the falsetto and that is strained a lot of the time. He seems like a nice enough guy but that doesn't make a star for me. I wish Freddy had survived longer, he was a lot more interesting.

Nate should of gone through I think, he was much better then Matt, imo.
I'd have gone for Nate, Christian and the Irish boy whose name escapes me |

Not just starting to. I couldn't believe he even falsetto-ized Silent Night.

If someone hasn't clicked with you by now, you're going are to get bored of them
So I'm not just bored with Matt, I'm bored with Emily and 5AM too Also bored with Saara a bit, but she's the only I get excited about because there's still a possibility that she'll do something special I liked Matt initially because I thought he was consistently good (if not great) in a "if I went to a Motown musical, I'd be happy with that" sense (thinking about Grapevine), but he is getting predictable (and his falsetto isn't good enough to be a selling point) and any physical charisma he has is wasted on me I'm glad the final is next week |

I only got bored when Matt Terry became an omnipresence at 6CC and being told his second performance - a butchering of Secret Love Song - was good enough for him to keep his seat.
That set alarm bells ringing in my ear.

He's a good singer and I hope he does well but for me I agree that he doesn't really appeal to my tastes. I think the problem with a singer like that is that they're bound to release material that doesn't do very well. Hopefully he can do better than his predecessors though (assuming he wins).

Matt isn't the type of singer who is going to appeal to the lads and if girls get bored quickly, then it's curtains for him. It's also very telling in the public vote that in Disco Week, Saara (presumably) topped the vote for the first time and has remained in the top 2 ever since. I don't know this for sure, but she's avoided the bottom 2 ever since. Saara is in the strongest position right now as she has won over the public. Matt is the one I expected to be topping the public vote every week so the fact he's lost his pulling power with the public vote speaks volumes. |
