Jessica desperately needs a proofreader for her blog
Is her blog The Prodigal Fox her main business? The posts are littered with primary school errors, like always writing 'of' instead of 'have' and spelling 'fierce' 'feirce' in a post title. Really surprised it's up there in all its illiterate glory. Why hasn't she hired someone to pick up all the errors? Online proofreaders work for practically nothing.

She's in the fashion business but consistently spells 'adidas' with two d's! She`s recently launched 'in the style of' clothing lines with Love Island glamour models Katie Salmon and Jessica Hayes. These won't have cost much in terms of fabric, as all the clothes are backless, very low cut and sheer.

Hmm, don't think I'll be spending any of my hard-earned cash on Jessica's site.

The website is quite bad and the clothes are really cheap looking. Quote:
And slay you will in this little cute off the shoulder playsuit.
Its super cute shirt bottoms are slightly wider than a normal playsuit to give you skinnier pins and be disguised as a skirt bottom. We designed the wasitband to pinch you in to show off all curves and assets. Acailable in other colours email thefox@prodigalfox.com for more details. |

Has she been pi55ed all this series then?
![]() She has obviously not found the punctuation buttons either. As for the clothes .... 'I'm a slapper, get me some cheap clothes' could be a new TV show.

All over the site, the copy she's written is riddled with basic errors that anyone with a decent English GCSE could amend. I'm sure she boasts on the show about being a writer. If she got to the penultimate episode when they discuss business plans, anyone looking at her website would have picked this up, surely?
Here's one of her descriptions of a dress 'designed' by Katie Salmon: 'The sheer white fabric flatters all body shapes and give the solouette a remarkably endearing look. The cage lace detail is to add to the daring ness of this creation. ' |

Basic grammar issues aside, her spelling errors could have been avoided if she used a spellcheck. It's practically in every single software that involves text.

I quite like Jessica but seeing her site has actually rather put me off. I know not everyone is a good speller but as mentioned above, that's why spellchecks exist. Looks very unprofessional to go public with something like that.
As for the merchandise, it looks like a lot of tat, but presumably there's a market for that. Eyes would certainly pop if Jessica appeared on the show in some of these creations

Think there's good reason for the spelling and grammar errors on the blog...

Dyslexia is no excuse in a business capacity. Her first priority should be to hire someone who can proofread the copy as part of their job. A simple spell check would auto-correct mistakes like 'feirce'. Sick of people using dyslexia as an excuse for sloppy English like hers.

If she maintains she has a brand and knows all about marketing, then the first thing she should realise is that in this digital age, most customers will only spend a few minutes on a site and that first impressions will make or break her.
She might have dyslexia, but she is not so stupid as to not get this checked over.

I'll proofread for Jessica, as long as she does not offer to pay me in Prodigal Fox merchandise

She can't even get fashion specific words right and spells 'ruched' as 'rouched' in every description. Weird that zelebs like the Love Island crew trust her to market their lines but neither they (nor, more to the point, their managers) seem to notice the mistakes she makes.

Karren's reaction should be interesting too! |

I hate spelling and grammatical errors as much as the next person but I've just taken a look at her website and I think some of the clothes are lovely!
She clearly knows her market and, while she probably should use a spellchecker, it seems to me that she's just steamed ahead and got stuff done while many of us (by which I mean me ) would still be angsting over whether the dot on the i is the right shape.

But potential investors might be. Basically, it needs sorting. I do quite like the name - The Prodigal Fox

... especially the zelebs.
We all make mistakes, but that mess just suggests that she cannot be bothered, so what else does she not bother about? I expect the zelebs' managers are quite happy that she is on TV. |

It is so bad and so easily fixed that I wonder if it is deliberate. Not that the misspelling is intentional but that no effort has been made to correct it because Jessica wants her dyslexia to be known, perhaps in small part because it has been reported that dyslexia is common amongst entrepreneurs.
See this Guardian report, for instance (and one of those names seems oddly familiar -- Lord Sugar): https://www.theguardian.com/small-bu...siness-leaders |

And so you should because if not no business people would look twice. Maybe she wants the £250,000 to hire a proofreader
