No. It was live.

Sky News is giving weather details in the Middle East.
I keep flicking between stations and am ending up getting BBC World News and CBS on Sky.

I think I'll stick with LBC until the declaration takes place, then switch to TV. Surely that would be live?

It's very strange that there is so little coverage of this anywhere.

Sky News won't carry it live if they are in a commercial break...

I think the returning officer spent all the budget on her hat rather than on the sound system. Did no one test it?

Did she think she was going to Ascot rather than a 3am election count?!

Even the tv stations havent put the result on screen as they couldn't hear it.

Tories clear win, UKIP second, Lib Dems just ahead of Labour. So Labour drop from 2nd to 4th since 2015.

So the Lib Dems came third then?

Going by the order of the speeches.

Well done to UKIP for coming in second.

Finished, eh?

Meanwhile, Labour continue to go from one disaster to another...

Interesting shift in Lib Dem vote. It's far from a liberal area but to get their vote up again is good for them. Many had them down and out in 2015. Labour are going the same way in England as they did in Scotland.

Pro brexit stronghold returns pro-brexit majority! Will the media be as amazed as Richmond? I guess no, this will be largely ignored.

The UKIP vote share dropped. If they are losing ground with their biggest issue constantly in the ground and a dynamic new leader, yeah, finished.

Sky just suggested Labour lost Leave voters to UKIP, and Remain voters to the Liberals - and came 4th because of it - ouch. Corbyn plus multiple conflciting policies on brexit are taking a toll.

May should be happy. UKIP is going nowhere, and Leave voters don't seem too unhappy with what she's doing - while she's not losing votes to Remain . At least not with the 50% of the 2015 turn out who turned out now.

Labour have had a poor result. UKIP can brag about their first 2nd place position in the constituency but may have been hoping to be closer to the Tories, for whom it's business as usual. Encouraging signs for the Lib Dems, who were closer to UKIP than I thought they would be.

I wonder where the Lincolnshire Independent's votes would have gone had she not stood.

Lib Dems nearly doubled their vote share, albeit on a low turnout and following a complete disaster in 2015. They're definitely on their way back.

If the Tories had stood in Richmond Park they could have won

Huh? Pretty sure both Tories and Labour want a soft Brexit. And the remain supporting Lib Dems were the only main party to increase their vote share.

They have held all their seats that have been contested since 2015. I'm not sure they would ever have viewed Richmond or Sleaford and North Hykeman as seats they would win.

Yep, the only way that Corbyn's "movement" is going is down the pan.
