I think the show has invested a lot in Stacey and Martin so fingers crossed she and Max will just be friends.

They've made a big thing about him changing, and I don't think all of it is for the benefit of making out he's OK and not out for revenge.

Good to see max a huge character in the modern history of eastenders.

Hopefully see an improve in Lauren as well and get her away from this 1970s dressed stepford wives persona she seems to have

Revenge aside, I wonder, will he actually have changed? Stacey has already said he has...

I doubt it. Max will be declaring his love for a new bird before too long.

"I lova ya, babe, it's always been you!"

Max has always been a womaniser and male slapper, his revenge will be bedding the women of his enemies rather than fighting them.

I doubt very much that Max has forgiven Ian & Jane- he definately has something up his sleeve.
I really hope so, otherwise it would be the worst cop-out ever, unrealistic, and a pathetic way of ending the Lucy s/l.

That'll be sweet little Abi who tried to murder Babe by locking her in the freezer.

And the same sweet little Abi who, in court, lied by saying that Max had told her that he had killed Lucy.

I do hope Max is more forgiving of Lauren than Abi. I hope Max finds out that Lauren told DS Malachy (can't remember his actual name).

He seems to be loaded....Those gifts weren't cheap either. Still I'm glad he hasn't come back cap in hand. I'm wondering if he's the new buyer of Ronnie's house.

Before he went to prison, he wasn't supposed to have any money.

Unless he's lying to Stacey, how can he have loads of money if he's living in a bedsit and has 'an office job'.

I suppose he's had 6 months to sort stuff out, but it seems unlikely.

I'd love it if he bought Ronnie's house. I suppose that would mean that Jack would leave though. Maybe, eventually, Abi could then live with him?

Max was wrongly imprisoned and I think he was entitled to compensation or he sued the police for the way they handled the investigation?
