Max was wrongly imprisoned and I think he was entitled to compensation or he sued the police for the way they handled the investigation?
That's a good point. Would 6 months be enough time for it to come through?

Before he went to prison, he wasn't supposed to have any money.

Unless he's lying to Stacey, how can he have loads of money if he's living in a bedsit and has 'an office job'.

I suppose he's had 6 months to sort stuff out, but it seems unlikely.

I'd love it if he bought Ronnie's house. I suppose that would mean that Jack would leave though. Maybe, eventually, Abi could then live with him?
Jack would have to leave it anyway because it's sold and besides it never belonged to him. I wonder if he's involved in the accident...Maybe there's a row about Roxy moving in with them and a bit of pushing and shoving. It'd be a turn up if he gets arrested.

Is it sold though? Did the buyer pull out and then they had an open house?

Yeh, it would be ironic if Jack went to prison!

I thought they'd found a new buyer....But don't quote me on that.

Could you imagine Max's smirk if Jack got arrested.

I do hope Max is more forgiving of Lauren than Abi. I hope Max finds out that Lauren told DS Malachy (can't remember his actual name).
More forgiving of Lauren than Abi?! Abi genuinely thought Max was guilty of Lucy's murder because he tried to frame her, his own daughter, for it to protect himself. Lauren on the other hand knew full well Max was innocent and did nothing allowing him to rot in prison. Its no thanks to her he even got out in the end, he'd still be there now if it was left to Lauren to clear his name. Some daughter she is.

Lauren at least went to the police though, even though she wasn't listened to.

Abi was manipulated by Sharon and Phil, but she knew what she was doing when she testified against him. Didn't she make up some of what she said as well?!!

Abi knew Max wasn't guilty. She lied on the witness stand and was caught out, and all to protect her killer boyfriend. This is the same Abi that locked an old lady in a freezer and left her to die. Horrible brat.

He can't have changed much if he's still shuffling his shoes... shame on Strictly Come Dancing for encouraging this behaviour.

Yeh, she lied to put him in prison. At least Lauren eventually attempted to get him out!

Realistically, the answer would be no but we can let the writers off thanks to 'suspension of disbelief'

It's great having Max back, isn't it? I have really missed the character and Jake Wood is one of their finest actors and I hope there are some big storylines in the pipeline for Max.

I'm looking forward to his scenes with Michelle

It's brilliant having Max back. Jake is a fantastic actor - possibly better than Steve McFadden!

The show must have known about Max's break for over 2 years so fingers crossed they have a lot planned for him. Jake deserves some big scenes.

The Michelle connection will be interesting - especially as Ian is so close to her.

According to article on DS he makes a play for both Stacey and Michelle although how true that is only time will tell. I can see him making a play for Michelle, not so sure about Stacey unless they're gonna revert her back to how she used to be. I'm hoping not because Stacey has been through so much and isn't that person anymore.

I agree - Stacey and Max need to just stay friends. The show has invested so much in Stacey and Martin, I hope it would only be one-sided, if that.

Jake Wood is one of the finest actors that the show has ever had.

So very naturalistic in everything he does - Steve gets all the praise on here but Jake is just as good (if not better).

As for Max I am delighted that he is back (compared to many in the square he is a bloody saint) but I would so love him to get total and complete revenge on King Weeble.

Go 'Kill Crazy' on him if you like (only Red Dwarf fans will get that reference).

But TPTB will sadly never, ever allow that.

To be fair, I don't think anyone would blame her for the Babe incident, considering she horrid and deserved everything she got.

If it was down to Strictly then he'd be doing heel leads and watching his frame.

I was never a fan of Max but I must say I'm looking forward to seeing how prison has changed him, especially as he was falsely put away by a bunch of characters. I'm hoping Stacey will be a good friend to him and offer her support.
Stacy needs to keep away from him, he will ruin her life yet again.

I think you'll find Max is very skilled at the Cha-Cha-Cha , how do you think he gets all those women up into the bedroom?

And do I have to remind you that Max was on Strictly?

Max is self-harming

I'm glad it looks like EE are going to focus on what prison has done to Max mentally, not just the revenge plot.

No me neither, which makes it all the more shocking because it's a complete surprise.

Poor Max.
