Emily had an accent, Saara's voice is brilliant .. i bet you wouldn't know she's Finnish unless they told you so at the beginning of the competition.

Sam Bailey was awful, she literally won to celebrate the 10th anniversary, her singing was not very good most weeks imo.

With Saara she has a very good voice, but through no fault of her own I can't get too excited about her because she doesn't do the style of Music that I'd root for, I however do want her to win the final.
Sarara has an excellent voice and Sam Baily also had an excellent voice.

Why is it so many people don't appear to be able to handle the fact their personal favourite may not win - or may not be as popular as they had hoped - without coming out with ludicrous statements about other acts.

You may not like Saara or Sam Bailey as acts, but to say they can't sing is just an immature and emotional reaction because you have the hump over your own act.

Compared to Matts out of tune falsetto & the 5AM backing singers I think her voice is fantastic

I do not get why people have this obsession with her singing, she has a powerful voice and can hit a lot of notes but I personally find her accent and diction really not nice. I know she has the accent but It's so strong when she sings that I just can't warm to it.
I don't like her voice at all. Every time I've seen her I can picture her in a stage musical but I wouldn't be going to see her & would never buy her music

Oh dear OP has a bit of an agenda going on!

Other thread started:

Matt's performance of Hurt was better than anything Saara has done

Personally disagree with both threads started and hope she wins!

I always remember when Sam Bailey tried to do Bob Dylan in one of the early weeks to sing in a lower range and it was awful.

I'd take Saara's 'ugly' voice over Matt's faltering falsetto any day of the week....
I never understood why Matt was picked for the live shows. He hasn't done anything spectacular at all. I was disappointed that Emily lost out at the very end of the competition - in my opinion, she was better than Matt. At least she pushed the boat out a couple of times with some of her songs. Creep, for instance, put chills down my spine. Mad World did something similar.

I've never liked many of the groups in this show. Some of them were cobbled together using some of the people they had rejected as solo acts. That's how One Direction and Little Mix were formed - and you never see them playing an instrument. Yes, they've had chart success, but in reality they're not the best bands in the world - not when you compare them to bands that have been together for almost a lifetime, e.g. the Stones, who can actually write and play music.

Does anyone else think this is just another Saara bashing thread?

I also like her voice, and I think she deserves to win. She's working very hard, given that English is not her first language. There seem to be some xenophobes on this thread. Why shouldn't she audition and sing on X-Factor? She appears to have more to offer than most of the people who auditioned.

I kind of see where the OP is coming from. Saara isn't my cup of tea at all, and her voice is quite grating (at times). However, she's head and shoulders better than Matt and 5AM (and everyone else on the lives this year for that matter) so it would be good for the show if she won, especially considering she looked a dead cert to go in the first few weeks.
