EE anybody think Lee wasnt involved in Robbery ?
Don't read spoilers etc so no idea what was said but I missed Tuesdays epsiode so might missed something there but why does everyone think Lee was involved ?
How about someone with grudge like Babe.maybe or even Jay as he needs money Good plot though |

I wondered if the point of him picking up the wallet is because he recognised one of them as the bloke from his work and is going to blackmail him.

I think that the joker he works with seems like the "all mouth no actions" type. I really doubt it's him.
I do think Jay is involved, what with the talk of Billy being burgled as well. It probably wasn't him under one of the balaclavas, he has likely cut some sort of deal with his, er, dealers whereby he gives them the info they need to burgle somewhere i.e. alarm codes, locations of the tills/safes, they do the rest and in turn it erases some of his debt. He will know enough about the Vic from when Phil owned it and if Billy's home or work are going to be next, then he certainly knows enough. |

Furthermore, he slashed Lee's suit in a previous episode, so he's definitely not just "all mouth." |

Something he said at work might have led to Oz & Co deciding to do it because of the charity darts match but I don't think Lee was behind it. There's several threads discussing it in much more detail but there was nothing that I recall from Tuesdays ep that might have given some clues. |

I don't think he is involved, I think he recognised Oz but in his depressed state is not thinking right and is worried that if Oz gets caught his lies will untangle.

Of course Lee is involved. He tried to get Whitney out of there, he did nothing to help his family, he told the robbers where the money was and he hid the evidence which implicated the culprits (the wallet).

I'm wondering whether trying to get Whitney home was a red herring and that him picking up the wallet and recognizing Oz is just him panicking that his lies are all about to unravel. He'd rather keep his secrets and let Oz and co get away with it then face up to the truth and have them punished.
I think it's probably more likely he may be in cohorts with them as he's already stole the charity money once but potentially the show could be trying to mislead us. |

I cant see why he would get Oz to rob the pub. oz has been bullying him and cant see him saying hey do us a favour rob me mam an dad and .i'll split the wares.
I think he was scared and recognised oz's voice first and so panicked and just wanted rid. It wad interesting in that Johnny thought he was Rocky yet when some thugs attacked sharon im the albert he cowered under the bar and wet himself! Role reversal or what |

Nah, Lee took advantage of the situation [stealing the wallet, which will lead him to finding out it was Oz, who was obviously after revenge].

Lee took the wallet for the money. He probably wanted him and Whitney to spend the night together and the reason he did nothing was becuase he has anxiety

I think he was in on it or more likely he recognised them. He immediately told them that the money was upstairs even though they hadn't had chance to respond to Mick who had just told them the money had gone to the bank. This to me immediately revealed that Lee knew something.

He either took the wallet for the money, took it as he was involved and if they found out it would eventually implicate him , or took it as he knew who it was and will use it to try and get money out of him, the last two would make Lee very silly indeed .
But he is leaving so maybe his leaving story will be prison for robbery, leave as he is ashamed or disowned or suicide. the EP may go with killing him off as he is with Ronnie and Roxy . |
