He was thanking the crew of Fountain Studios which is being demolished after tonight's show. The final is at Wembley Arena.
He was indeed refering to the demolition of the studios....
I will be sad to see Fountain go. I worked opposite for many years -it all started with Pop Idol, and spent many a Friday hanging out of the windows of my office, over the fence - talking to the contestants and Sharon, Louis and Simon! Even had Chico up for a cup of tea one morning! That was fun!
