All four left a great dancers, and its a shame one of them is going to miss out on the final. I really want Claudia to go through. Liked her from very early on. I don't think she gets enough credit from some people.

However, it will be a big challenge for her. If she can't avoid the dance off I think she's a goner. The judges just warm to Ore and Louise more - not saying it's a Clifton Conspiracy, the judges are just more positively disposed to them generally. She will have to absolutely blow Ore or Louise out of the water in the DO, I feel the judges will be looking for any little excuse to keep Ore or Louise.

Ore has the right to show his emotions and sensitive side and some viewers have the right to feel it comes across a bit contrived at times. There are a lot of cynics out there

It would likely depend on the dance. I'd pick an Ore & Joanne Quickstep (Jo's speciality) over a Claudia & AJ Quickstep or Rumba any day, but if they do the Tango it might be different. It might also make a difference if they get a choice as well or are forced to do a particular dance in the dance-off

Personality-wise it would absolutely have to be Claudia in the final for me. However I will make my judgement on the dances on the night (in fairness I don't tend to enjoy watching Ore dance so it'll probably be Claudia on the night too).

Exactly. Strictly guardian, Strictly bbc blog, Strictly facebook..just those few places I checked share those same thoughts; why do some people assume that Ore not being that popular is only down to DS

I am torn because I don't like either of them.
Ore is more talented than Claudia but I cannot have any more benches, tables, candy cabinets, or other furniture that Joanne includes whenever she cannot think of easy steps for Ore and when stealing from old Hollywood movies or DWTS/SYTYCD routines may become too obvious.
Claudia is cute but AJ is too vain (as was duly noted by many pros in the Booth of Truth) and ambitious. AJ was dragging Claudia around like a rag doll in the routines that did not suit her, until somebody gave him an idea to use more lifts. Now we have Cirque de Soleil - cum - gymnastics tournament instead of good old dancing. Did I miss the moment when SCD became X-Factor-2?
Even worse, AJ's friends and family (firmly rooted in the dance world) started bullying judges into awarding the couple 10s! No, it's not the couple I will be rooting for, although I like Claudia and wish she had been matched with a different partner.
Now that the entertaining dancers have left, I would prefer the most talented celebrities Danny and Louise, in the final. There will be enough fillers anyway. .

Claudia for me. Ore will be taking on Louise and Kevin on their own terms, quality of dance, and he won't beat them. The trained dancers have less flaws and make less mistakes. Claudia can put highlights into her dances that might win the day. Hopefully there won't be too many interviews where she and AJ talk in teen speak. It's like so annoying.

Louise and Danny will reach the final without ever being in the DO, that's been clear for a while, so it's just a simple process of elimination.

I would prefer Ore to make the final if both he and Claudia are bottom two.

No Danny and Louise can avoid the DO even without topping the public vote... but now that only 4 left a little slip from the leaderboard could end up in DO.

I think we have a very worthy final four and I do like all of them. In a really ideal world, I'd like to see Danny, Ore and Claudia in the final. Louise seems like a lovely woman and a fabulous technician, but I don't really connect with her dances - she's too internal for me.

Neither Ore nor Claudia have much prior dance training and I'd like to see them get a bite at the final.

Not at all likely to happen, but I can dream. It is far more likely that Ore or Claudia will be going next week and I think it will depend on the combination of dances and costumes that get thrown at them. My OH has a theory that people vote as much for the costuming as the dances and looking back at this series, he may have a point.

I think the dance off will between the two weakest remaining - Ore and Louise.

Am I right in thinking if the judges make Danny and Louise first and second (in either order) it would be mathamatically impossible for them to both end up in the dance off, meaning one of Danny or Louise might end up in dance off, but at least one of Ore and Claudia would be in dance off- meaning whatever happens it will be bus fair home for either Ore or Claudia, thus guaranteeing Danny and Louise in final (plus either ore or Claudia)

No. If the public vote is the opposite of the judges vote, all will have 5 points overall, but public vote usurps judges vote I believe, so Louise and Danny would be bottom two.

Personally, I think Claudia is far more popular with the public than Louise, so I am expecting to see Louise and Ore in the DO. Unless the judges try to vote strategically to avoid Louise being in the DO, by putting Claudia last and Louise first.

I am not a Claudia fan but can appreciate that she and AJ have really come back fighting following their Blackpool dance-off.

However, Ore has been the far more consistent dancer across the series and I feel he & Jo have worked far harder and deserved to be rewarded.

So, Ore it is for me.


As you have not mentioned any of Ore's strengths, allow me to assist - NONE of the final four can SELL a dance like Ore perfomance-wise.

Ore is a far better dancer but has annoyed people with his crying and OTT mannerisms.

Claudia is not the best dancer - and never will be - but has a very likable personality.

Sadly, AJ does not have the right experience to choreograph her properly and seems to think that endless lifts are a dance.

I voted for Claudia, but would prefer to have Ore in the final as well with Louise going. Very unlikely to happen, though!

I have no idea what criteria did you use to come up that Ore is far more consistent than Claudia... they are both 5-5 in head to head judges score... week 1 and 2 as 1.
And Claudia arguably have more memorable dances.

I've never really liked having a 4 person final, however this is the one year when I think it would work and think all 4 deserve to be there!
Saying that if I had to choose between Ore V Claudia, i would go with Claudia as I have pretty much supported her from the start, thats not to say I dislike Ore as I dont, I would actually like to see him in the final! (his singing in the rain dance was one of my faves of the series). But would absolutely love to see Claudia's showdance, I can imagine some crazy lifts!!
Louise is probably my least favourite, she is a lovely dancer but I've never actually felt the need to re-watch any of her dances....actually the only one that stands out for me was their AT. I dont feel any connection between her and Kevin.

I meant consistently better IMO.

As for 'memorable dances', I have to disagree - Ore's AS, Jive & VW are standouts which I will not forget in a hurry as they could all merit a place as 'Dance of the Series'.. only Claudia's Charleston comes any where near for me...

Danny trumps him easily there in my opinion, though I agree Ore tends to get the character better han Claudia and Louise. Claudia has more potential for a wow dance though imo.

I completely have no recognition of any of those Ore's dances you mention... maybe just me.

It such a shame Claudia is not few more inches taller... but having said that Shawn Johnson won the US series.

I like them both! But I've voted for Ore because I find him more engaging to watch. Claudia is a great dancer and it's lovely to see how she is feeling it and enjoying it, but she just doesn't have any charisma, for me, whereas Ore does.

I am a Danny/Oti fan but, aside from his conductor in his QS, I haven't really been impressed with his characterisation. Ore was memorable as Gene Kelly's character in SITR & Willy Wonka.

I agree with this - I think her lack of height restricts some of her lines. Imagine someone like Laura replicating those lines - their impact would be so much greater.
