This series has been the worst by a country mile.

Gave up after week one when Danny the only interesting character left.

Predictable trials day after day ... ohhhhh 10k bugs today / 20k bugs the next day

Yawnnnn

its probably been the worst year for me, no real arguing, no real starvation. This is what makes it all interesting. I decided last night that this will probably be my final year watching it. I will await to see who goes in though as I do with CBB as I dip in and out of those series

Yeah it reminded me of a kids show.
I watched some clips of series one with Tara and Rhona that was so good compared to this.

I remember Scarlett crying when there was arguing going on. Real conflict in this series could have changed voting to keep in people who were scrapping. Her reaction was no doubt genuine - and I mean that - but I think the producers, wanted a happy camp for the happiest campmate to win.

Far more difficult for Pollyanna to win if in the background, a few are thrashing each other with palm leaves, yelling insults, being distracting.

Reality shows are very well planned. Another example - Scarlett exempt from height and water trials ? We don't know why. Either a medical reason or less chance of failing any trials. Scarlett did a lot of dance training so balance is unlikely to be the problem eg vertigo. Can't swim ? Neither can Ola. What would make a trained dancer, Scarlett, unable to do trials involving heights ? Maybe there is something but I can't think if anything offhand.

Worst year I've ever seen, not because it was so peaceful but because it was so micro managed,

I stopped watching after Lisa was voted out, couldn't be bothered seeing the supporting cast (the folks I actually liked) being slung out one by one to leave the chosen few for the final.

I have this crazy thing where I watch shows to see what happens next, but in this show I already knew what was going to happen next.

I watched here and there but I really didn't care much about the show when carol left.

So horribly dull and predictable. They may as well start repeating the old series as I'm sure no one would either care or realise.

Taintedmeat - you sad git! Just because YOU found it boring, you really had to tell people that YOU found it boring and now YOU think it should end, despite millions loving it?! How bizarre. Why not watch another show and stop pointless moaning??

For me, I can't remember enjoying a series of the show this much for years. It has just been so nice to watch. A proper feelgood series, even the contestants that had moments of being an arse, were not horrible people, they just had occasional moments. I feel sad for those of you that prefer to see nasty people arguing and falling out or crying about nothing. That isn't entertainment to me. And its been much nicer to see trials shared among everyone, I hate it when the public choose the same person day in day out.

Also, this>>> "If they go down that route again, perhaps they ought to cut the predictable critters and foul meals, and replace them with more physical, adventure, and logical tests."

The cyclone is by far the best game of the whole series, everyone knows it. I'd love more of this kind of challenge, we don't need to see them eating things every day.

I understand the viewing figures have been very good this season? And it does seem that Ant n Dec have really enjoyed this series too. So fingers crossed, that next year, we get more of the same. Too much doom and gloom in the world already.
Excuse me do you mind not hurling insults at me ? It's rather rude .

I didn't enjoy it and that is MY opinion which I am entitled to share.

It was a trifle dull on the whole but not the worst series ever.

I'm glad Scarlett won. There were times in there that I went off her - but then started liking her again. Glad she beat Joel.

I enjoyed this series. I didn't like Martin being picked on and I'm glad he stayed in longer than Danny and especially Larry. Having said that, generally this was a nicer camp than we've seen before, which was good to watch.

I didn't mind it and this series was ok but what killed it was the obvious winner from day 1 and itv going too far with their bias towards her . There was zero drama in the vote offs as we all knew near enough who was going each night and last nights final was as predictable as night following day and it's a bit naughty of itv for at least the past 3 years ( mark wright was pimped to hell and back but they couldn't quite pull it off for him) basically hiring a personality beforehand , sending them on one of their big shows to heighten their profile to a large audience and then giving them a really obtuse amount of favouritism to then plonking them on us in another one of their shows .
A question I'd love to ask some of the more knowledgeable posters of reality tv shows as I only watch X factor and this show is that ,is itv the worst channel for these shows regarding the most manipulating and biased to certain contestants ? Is SCD or BB or even any of these shows on the other channels just as bad ?

Yes, Getrid. Big Brother has its favourites. Sometimes the highlights are dominated by two people for weeks. Excluding the rest and making them out to be boring and 'doing nothing'.

A three week long celeb ego stroking boot camp, where the favourite pastime was everyone saying how great everyone else is culminating with evictions being treated like they were executions and the elevation of Scarlett Moffat to near sainthood status. Pass the sick bucket please.

It just goes to show how rubbish and dull it was when the highlights were carol talking to a toad and Martin hugging trees.

Oh the drama ! No arguments just a bit of bullying which was lacklustre. Good riddance I don't want to see this lot ever again

I agree with this. It was a nice change to see people getting on so well, I enjoyed it.

Wayne "I like to keep myself to myself" Bridge made Kiosk Keith seem like the life and soul of the party. God he was dull, what a complete and utter buzzkill.

There were no bitchy bastards - that's the problem. I enjoy nice scenes but not 3 weeks with no let-up
