I'm with you on this. I really hope it will be investigated fully. Very crafty tactics
Would you like to them to investigate the votes for Matt which have come in from outside the UK? I've seen posts from Matt fans who have voted for him from abroad. There's voting instructions on a Matt Terry Spanish fanpage. Here's just one post.

Daily Express have picked up on Saara potentially getting Finnish votes. Hope this doesn't impact her reputation as the winner if she does win:

http://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-...te-Saara-Aalto

It's a silly article.
It's not only silly its also impossible. Stupid Express.

Really? So how did she suddenly go from being disliked & in the bottom to being so popular? Clearly it did affect things. It's just wrong.
If Finnish vote would affect at all, why she was in the bottom 2 three times? Where was the Finnish votes then? I think her great singing made her so popular.

Or it could just be that some of the UK actually like her now, and want her to win so vote, because she isn't a bland boring male or a boyband who can't sing and have to have a backing track.
Yeah but the main factor will be that Simon and Syco won't want a foreign classical crossover singer with over a decade in the business to win, and will quietly engineer against her. Matt is their chosen one and his appearance in the bottom two was probably engineered for effect too, knowing that he was always going to be put through by the judges.

I'm astonished that everyone doesn't know how SyCowell's mind and spin doctors work these days when it comes to picking the winner. I hope I am wrong.

The entire population of Finland is around a third of the population of London.

The idea that they could have rigged the vote is absurd. This is simply nonsense from a very nasty newspaper. Because she is foreign. No more, no less.
Spot on.

Indeed, the same rhetoric visited on immigrants. Shame people keep the rag in business by buying it.

I think Simon cares more about who reaches the final than who wins. He will spend all the budget on 5AM regardless now that they had the full X Factor promo. If Saara wins, they will just do what they did with Sam Bailey- spend £20 on an album of covers and drop within a year. It wouldn't be a problem.

Votes are being accepted by the app, but are they counted? Only X Factor production knows that for sure.
How could they reject them when the voters are using BPN to cover up their location and the Apple ID/google account have a fake UK address? The voting instructions tell ppl to google a random London postcode to use...

I didnt do any of that..
Well then quite frankly you can't have voted via the app.

The app is only available from the UK App Story and only with a valid UK address linked to your iTunes. (It's not just me saying that, the links on this thread say the same).

I've just tried to get the app via my US account (by switching to the UK app store) and it doesn't work.

So the question is... why do you have the need to lie? Do you even live in Finland?

I guess you did not watch any of those performances
I did watch all of them, hard though it was. I didn't see any improvement at all.
I guess the FB page with instructions on how to vote changed the situation. Just so crafty. It will be a farce if she wins on this basis. Personally I am certain she won't.

You would need to create a new account with a VPN and made up U.K. Address. It works. I know Finnish people living in Finland who have done it.

What a load of crap. The same allegations were made about 4th impact and look at the population of the philapines compared to tiny Finland. Look at where 4th impact ended aswell...oh wait.

As for saara being at the bottom several times to being favourite, yes that is a turn around but not out of the realms of possibility. Her performances have become stronger, her sing offs have made her this years underdog. Look at the amount of support she is receiving here? Not convinced? Well there was another contestant on X factor from a different county was at the bottom 3 times but went on to win. It can be done. It doesn't neccassarily mean foul play.

Saara's haters will just convince themselves that she is winning because of cheating.

I at first didn't like her at all, and was amazed that Sharon sent her through. After the first two weeks I was sure that she would be sent home early and that she wouldn't get pass week 4. But after her first two weeks I saw her become the underdog in the competition, and I always like to root for an underdog. Then she just improved and had amazing performances after "Oh It's so Quiet". Since then she has being in the top 3 best performances, if not being the best of the night.

It's ok if you don't like her, you don't have to. But you shouldn't just say that she is cheating just because your favorite isn't getting all the hype she is getting. Being honest, I do think Matt will win, even if I feel Saara is more deserving.

I started this thread but not to spread any disquiet about Saara's legitimacy. Finland is a small place and a tiny minority of people may be voting, many of whom will be discounted. Saara is doing well in the UK, I think (I hope). I think she is probably the most likeable out of all of them. She's the only one that stands out as different. She's very technical as a singer and she plays piano beautifully.

I think her success is well deserved and I hope she wins the competition. Now that Honey G is gone, she's getting 15 votes from me every week.

I'm Finnish, tried to download Xfactor App first TODAY, changed my billing info according to instructions, fine ..BUT still not able to download Xfactor App. Let's face it , most of Finnish people don't give a rat's ass about this competition and certainly not willing to
put a great deal of effort finding out how to vote. i'm pretty confident the amount of votes Saara has got from Finland is a couple of hundreds at most. Are you sure you're not a 35 year old female with sunglasses ??

They deserve it for bringing up her Finnish background all series, ofc they'll find a way to vote for her if you give them the ammunition too. Only their-selves to blame.

Exactly!

And even if a few have somehow managed to vote it will hardly compare to the extra votes 5AM and Matt will get from there homecoming concerts.

Any Finnish votes almost certainly won't count anyway.

It's the press that are trying to rig the result by publishing rubbish artciles like this.

Really hope this doesn't put anyone off voting for Saara. She deserves to win.

Non of this is her fault. I hope her fans double their votes for her this weekend to make up for those she may have lost because of this ridiculous story.

I've been voting from Portugal since the first year of the app.

I've voted in all three finalists this year. Disqualify them all

well, Dermot was at Saara's homecoming show in Helsinki, and apparently encouraging Finnish to hack the app to vote. case closed then! it is being allowed.

I live in London but I downloaded the app onto my Android device and voted when I was in Italy without anything to do with iTunes. I don't use iTunes on mobile or pc.

Why do you have the need to accuse people of lying?

Now it's possible that they can detect foreign ip addresses and block them but that's the same for my Italian votes or for anybody who did the convoluted iTunes method.

It seems to be much simpler with Android than with Apple. With Android you just go to the UK Google Play site. You don't need any account other than probably a Google account which needs no physical address and no verification of your name.

It's Trump all over again.

If Saara wins a bunch of numpties will be convinced it's cheating no matter what the evidence to the contrary. If she loses they'll suddenly go all quiet.

The Finnish votes weren't there then. Do you not remember Louis saying people just don't like you? Finland must vote and Saara saying they can't? Someone said then use the App....hey presto!

There's a very simple solution to all this. Stop the App voting. Problem solved 😉

Easy there.

Of course you can download the app and vote if you have a UK account on either google play or iTunes, as proven in your case.

How many Finish people will have that though? Next to none. Case closed.
