Might be able to do it. I've tried to help provide spoilers before when I can to this group.

I have tickets (but I'm not the name on the ticket and having never been before don't know if I'll be turned away!) advice appreciated and I can't find the normal thread for these questions.

We've had moles use other people's tickets before without issues. They don't check for ID. You need to queue nice and early though for validation to make sure you get in as they issue more tickets than there are seats for. People usually queue from the early hours of the morning. Validation happens at about 9am and then you can go away until about 3pm when they start letting people in

And, as Dave said, no one who has gone this year, using tickets with someone else's name on, has ever been checked and refused entry.
