Looks like we have two moles then. Thank you Emma
Amazing news!

Can't believe it's the last one of the series!

Another season nearly at a close.
I would like to add my thanks to all that help us impatient watchers that can't wait for Sunday evening. Mona, Amethyzt and previously Abigailsmum all do a great job.
I suppose if it wasn't for them, we'd all be sat watching pandas on a Saturday night

Me too. Thanks to the moles and the mole finders and helpers!
My mother-in-law and I thank you. I pass on the result to her as soon as I know from here.

Thanks everyone for their kind words last night. I think all this press attention has got to me more than I thought. It doesn't help that I suffer with anxiety and depression anyway plus I've got uni deadlines stressing me out too.

I think monaogg is right we may well see more people sharing the spoiler. We've already got more people posting it publicly to twitter which is still annoying as it spoils it for people who don't want to know. One positive is that these posts often get flooded out by all the fake spoilers being posted on a Saturday night to twitter. There's also been a couple of sites set up trying to emulate my success but they appeared to give up after the 2014 series. Didn't help that their posts were lengthy as they also reviewed the episodes and people didn't quite know where to look for the goodies.

One reason my site does so well is that my posts are formulaic and people know exactly where to look for the spoiler as it's always in the second paragraph and a lot of people just read that and then move on. When all this media attention kicked off I had a couple of people say they didn't even know I had a Christmas special spoiler even though it was linked at the top of the usual spoiler post because they'd just read the 2nd paragraph.

I'm going to be interested to see my stats next weekend (as well as the stats for here). Given the media have increased awareness of my site and the spoiler I'm expecting a busy one plus the final one is usually busier anyway because people want to know who the finalists are. I've already had the busiest Monday ever thanks to the Daily Mail and I'm still getting traffic coming from their article

One good thing about the spoiler getting out more is that it's putting pressure on the BBC. They said in the article in the Daily Star that they've tried everything to stop the results leaking out. There's one thing they haven't tried and it's the one thing that all of us want: a live results show. In spite of the fact that would leave my site and our spoiler thread here pretty much dead in the water it would still make me happy

I know a lot of people would like the results in a live show but I for one like it as it is. Its tense enough waiting for the result on here on a Saturday night but we have a good time waiting for it to come through and I can enjoy the Sunday show knowing who is going. The live show would be far too tense for me.

Perhaps they could keep it as it is but stop the ridiculous pretence that everyone gets dressed up again on a Sunday for the results show. They don't need to publish who was voted off and, those who want to know, can find out from other sources.

Don't let moaning minnies get to you. We all appreciate your contribution on here.

Actually yeah I've had similar comments on my site. Some people don't like the anxiety and tension of the dragged out results show which is why they come to my site.

Personally I'd be happy too if they just maintain the status quo and accept the results are going to leak out. Less than 1% of the people who view strictly view the spoiler at my site. Assuming similar numbers here and similar numbers for all the rest of the sources such as spoiler groups or twitter we are still talking about a small minority many of whom will still watch the results show even knowing the results

Yeah I'm trying not to let things get to me. I had a handin and a Q and A session about my work which didn't go brilliantly yesterday and with everything else things just got a bit much for me yesterday

Thanks, Jiver . I might try and learn during the X'mas break. Game must attract a lot of people to have local leagues.
There,s a fair amount of Apps for Android and Apple that will show you how to learn fairly easily, I was taught by an old chef when I was In the RAF over 30 years ago, so its a bit like riding a bike I suppose.
I hope you have many happy hours playing it, and if you can join a team near you it will be great ( a lot of pubs have a team ) just go along once or twice to get the hang of it better, plus any crib player will happily help you out if you get stuck.

22 teams in our league, which has been going since 1980. For my sins I also play 5s & 3s Dominoes on a Tuesday, sadly this seems to be dying a death, in many ways a more skilful game than Crib, but easier to pick up.

Would far rather go to the pub with a purpose, Crib & Dominoes serve very well.

Thanks. I will give it a go for fun and see. Weekdays I go to the gym at work,
2 days yoga and 3 days I workout and weekends I play badminton, just for fun.

I for one am very pleased we get the spoilers. It's nice to watch the results show relaxed and not anxious wondering if your favourite got through or not! Sadly the press always have to try and ruin things for the majority to satisfy the minority. Anyone would think the spoiler thread was a brand new invention this year.

Thank you to all the moles and previous moles you all do a grand job for us. I can't believe it's the last one on Saturday! Will it be race of the moles to see who can give us the result first as we are spoilt with four?

Aww, it's sad this will be the last one this year.

Well done and thank you spoiler team.

All the best for 2017.
