Who are these "higher instances of power" that you speak of?!

Not overly diplomatic and twitter is not the best medium for that but what he said is largely true.

Taking his phone away will not solve much, as he can log in to Twitter via other devices.
No doubt when he finds this out he'll have another major sulk like the last time he didn't get his rice Krispies in his favourite bowl. |

Trump hasn't taken office yet and that is his PRIVATE Twitter account. When he becomes president, he will have the POTUS Twitter account and that is the official account of the US president. What he posts there will matter. |

American politicians betraying Americans to China became normalised in recent decades.
So Trump actually treating China for what it is, a threat to the USA, seems odd. Chinese wealth is the wealth of America transferred. Specifically the American middle-class. Osborne/Cameron were trying to do the same thing for the UK. |

It's funny, but at the same time it's really not funny at all.

This normalisation of 'almost treason' will be difficult for those American businesses that got rich off that betrayal.
Think Apple. Think all those tech companies in fact. |

Anyone would think the guy is some sort of petulant teen, twittering his opinions about China across the world. It's embarrassing, and to think he is soon to be in charge of the most powerful country of the world.
You would think he was playing some sort of game, not getting ready for Presidency.Someon e take his damn phone away, this is no way to behave or to conduct foreign affairs. Decades of conflict avoiding diplomacy could go in a single stupid tweet I fear for the world, I really do.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-3816702 |

Trump is putting America first which is what he was elected to do. As bad as you think he is, he's IMO infinity preferable to Clinton. If you want to see what America domestically would have looked like under Clinton, look no further then Canada.

Technically, isn't he still an "ordinary person" until he gets sworn in? So he isn't the President just yet, that would still be Obama, so isn't he allowed an opinion as an "ordinary person" at this stage?
I'm less worried about Trump and more worried about the basket cases he is going to fill his cabinet with. |

All politicians are on social media nowadays. It's the best way to reach the youth but in general, it's a better place to express your views. Radio and TV are now obsolete when it comes to politics and news , as people more follow things online. The reason for that is that Internet is more convenient, but mainly because mainstream media is biased and often tell lies and propaganda. Internet is more open and people post things themselves.

China must laugh every time trump tweets. He's making China's attempt to take over Australasia so easy.

Could he not tweet different things when using both accounts?! If not, will his personal one be deleted? Quote:
Interesting view. The worrying claim is that many people live online in 'gated communities', only absorbing and sharing the views of like-minded people. I don't know how true this is. Personally I don't tweet or use Facebook. I only use forums like this one where I hear different views expressed.

Why would China want to take over the biggest part of that area Australia?

So you don't think what people have said in the past is of any consequence? When he's President, people will still remember what he was tweeting now. You don't get reborn without history when you take office.
It's not about what you tweet, it's about what you do. He used the populist language to get elected, but we will see his actions when he moves into the White House. |

I would suspect that in terms if the online community, you are in the minority, most people that are online use Facebook, Twitter and and a whole host of other social media. He won't be able to use his private social media accounts while in White House, only the official POTUS one. |

There's a theory that given typewriters and enough time a bunch of chimps will eventually produce the Complete Works Of Shakespeare...I guess Trump is the ape that proves the opposite.
