Fascinating listening.

I am watching on Sky, they have their own legal expert on there explaining things as we go along.

I've watched for a bit, but... I think I'll wait for the highlights

I really don't see why the government is bothering with the appeal. Between Conservative and Labour MPs they easily have enough votes to win any motion to invoke Article 50.

Torn to shreds by every single claimant response, across the board, for different reasons and all more solid than the appeal.

NB. They're all available online to read if you fancy

I heard that its a matter of principle and if they gave way on this then it sets a precedent for the future

As an aside Lady Hale is really annoying and doesn't seem to be able to follow things. Of course that could just be her tactic to disrupt things ...............

Not quite sure how you could then arrive at your conclusion.

IMO the only reason the government are wasting time and money on this appeal is that they are terrified of the Mail, Express and Telegraph.
The rw papers would monster May if she did the sensible thing and accepted the original ruling. But if she had done that then she would also be an "enemy of the people"

It isn't making for the most exciting of television experiences, we could do with something to liven it up!

Brexit needs a boost with the knocking it's took recently

If we lose the court case again I think people will lose interest. Most Brexit voters just want the best for the country but sick of fighting.. We will get our revenge in 2020 by biding our time and waiting it's only 3 years away now tick tock !

Remainers will be the first ones moaning though when things go wrong if we are forced to stay in the failed EU when everyone else is happy to jump ship.

Remainers should be ashamed of themselves not accepting democracy of the people. It's disgusting !

Anything to stop people drifting towards sleep would be a good thing!

They should have to present their case via the medium of interpretive song and dance!

That would bring in the viewers!

What kind of "revenge" are you talking about? And why would you want revenge for the government being made to follow proper legal procedure?

I voted Remain and I accept the democratic decision, as I'm sure most of us do. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Because parliament voted to give the power to the people. It's that simple

Why should they get a second vote!? Because it went the wrong way for some of them!?

And we all know that's lies Remainers are the ones causing problems and arguing about Brexit on here day and night it never stops !

Now we are getting a handle on things!

The eleven judges should have had a bit of pyro, and possibly had Michael Buffer to announce them into their seats!

Most brexiters won't be able to follow this - too detailed and factual.

Watching this on BBC streaming now.
Been 15 minutes now and I have no idea whether the bald counsel with glasses is arguing for or against the government.
