Not so far as I can see .....no
Just a bunch of people over complicating matters unecessarily
Nohing overcomplicated about it, and certainly necessary.

It's a question of fundamental constitutional importance. That requires detailed analysis and discussion. Hence we have the Court sitting en banc, and taking four days for submissions.

There doesn't need to be one
Brexit will continue
I repeat , this is just a delaying tactic by the remainers
Even if parliament have to vote again the process will continue
Right now it very much looks like it's a delay tactic by government......

Brexit doesn't need a boost, it just needs flushing away. It is an ill-conceived shambles which has split the country from top to bottom, quite needlessly. Your talk of revenge against so-called remainers, I find very disturbing. Remainers are as entitled to express their views as you are and use the legal system to test the law and the government, whether you like it or not. Bullies and bruisers clamouring for Brexit have no more right to get their way (despite their ignorance and prejudice) as anybody else.
There we go more insults ...ignorance and prejudice, bullies and bruisers. ..sigh

Needlessly? No.
This country has been frustrated by the EU for 20 years or so
Many of us wanted a referendum at Lisbon Treaty point but didn't get it.
The people of London do not represent the rest of the country

I agree, but I thought the "bunch of people over complicating matters" was referring to some of the posters on here!

Eadie is shocking. I'm baffled. Never ever have I seen such a weak performance in any court. And I spend a whole lot of time in court and tribunal.
I don't think he's been all that bad, and has done pretty well at responding to questions, but this in-depth examination of the De Keyser case seems to be going rather off-piste from the core question.

And that's fine. The end result will be the same.

Yes May doesn't seem to bothered by it all to be honest
Bothered enough to appeal the original decision but as I said earlier that's mainly to do with her being petrified of the reaction of the mad dogs at the Mail and Telegraph.

Nope, but their views are equal to everyone else's. Hence we have people correctly exercising their right to have their concerns addressed in court.

No we don't
Parliament ALREADY voted before the referendum
As I say this is just the remoaners making a point and trying to delay the inevitable
It won't work
Parliament voted on allowing an advisory referendum. Parliament voted on taking into consideration, along with everything else, the outcome of the referendum. Available for you to read black on white on Hansard if you care to look for it.

We are governed by Parliament, not by the government and most certainly not by Mrs May and the three stooges.

You're right - it is very simple.

He is shocking. Every question throws him off. He made a mess of one of the few half-plausible arguments they have submitted.

I'm sorry, either the government has no one more capable or this is done on purpose.

A little background music would be good, it effectively ruins just about every other TV show especially documentaries.

Glad you agree that the government is overcomplicating things.

Isn't he supposed to use the term "Your Lordship" instead of "My Lord"? Edit: in reference to Neuberger.

Most brexiters won't be able to follow this - too detailed and factual.

Watching this on BBC streaming now.
Been 15 minutes now and I have no idea whether the bald counsel with glasses is arguing for or against the government.
You must be Brexiter then.

Not that you knew what was in it - it was that moronic chant by Farage groupies, which got us into a mess, from which no-one seems top know the way out.

Still, easier to denounce judges - what do they know about law, after all?

I think he has got it right so far from what I heard.

My lord is used to directly address the judge, your lordship is used in place of "you" i.e. "Please see para 148 my lord, if your lordship would..."

Crikey can't they put all this stuff on a powerpoint or a tablet?

The rustling tomes are like something out of Dickens.

Not quite. I am trying to get my head around it rather than just waiting for the spurious outraged digest that will appear in the DM!
