I honestly thought that Ant and Dec were mortified to be on the extra show
I wondered about that. I found Ant and Dec a bit hard going this year and maybe having to associate themselves with the unprofessional dross on the sister show had something to do with it?

And who could blame them.

I haven't read one good word about the Execrable Extra Episodes.

Did you enjoy it?
There's one option too many in your poll. I'll leave you to guess which one.

I think you are easily pleased if you enjoyed that dross. It was an insult to the intelligence. I always watched it over the years but gave it a wide berth this year.

I emailed ITV and complained. It would be good if everyone did that and perhaps they would take notice.

I must say I am really surprised at the viewing figures. I can only assume that people used the mute button and only watched the bits from camp and evictee interviews.

I think there should be a "gave up on it years ago" button. I do check the threads on here to see whether it's improving.....which is why I don't bother with it!
Same here. Haven't been able to tolerate Swash's whining voice for years. Can't watch anything with him in it.

I reckon the three yes votes in this poll are from Ramsey, Pattison and Soloman.

Once Swash works out how to switch on his computer, it will go up to four.

I always used to put i on to fall asleep to, it was ok over the years, a few quite funny moments over the years...but this year was the most Godawful spectacle i have ever witnessed.

I managed 2mins but only because it was muted, Vicky was looking mighty uncomfortable.

ITV media twitter page posted last nights episode watched by 1.5m . ITV 2's largest audience this year.
It doesn't mean they all watch the entire mess. I've recorded it every night and fast forwarded over the vast majority looking for the very few clips they show now from camp. The 4 witless and incoherent muppets car crash blundering takes pride of place instead.

Excellent idea. When I emailed them I told them to look at the comments on here but I doubt they did.

As I predicted, we've got two claiming to have enjoyed it. *yawn*

Pity they didn't have the guts to identify themselves.
I was one of the gutless people. Doesn't mean to say I though it was great TV, I enjoyed bits of it a lot.
The viewing figures are only slightly down on last year so I am not alone.

In previous years I've always watched it, even with the awful comedian last year. However, I only managed 30 minutes or so of some shows this time, and didn't even bother turning over to ITV 2 last night. Utter dross - bring back Rob and Laura!

It was dreadful, I only watched snippets to see the evictee's interviews, and they were hard to watch.

I think they missed a trick by not having Luke Kempner as the guest comedian this year. He was great on Big brother's bit on the side doing celebrity impersonations. He would have been excellent with the jungle celebs and livened up an otherwise drab show. He's been doing impressions anyway - check out his twitter account!

next year maybe? It HAS to change.

The question would be, do you want it to come back in the same format with the same people next year or do you think it could be improved with different presenters rather than people who were trying to be presenters and failing miserably.

Vicky doesn't work IMO. Stacey has a wicked sense of humour when she is add libbing in the game show bits but can't read an autocue convincingly. The other two are OK.
Yes, it could be better but I still enjoyed it which was the question.

Thankfully I managed to avoid all but about 5 minutes of one episode.

That was 5 minutes too much.

That's fair enough. I just wondered what you liked about it as it seems the majority of people thought it was awful, me included. I would like to see a complete change of presenters for next year.

They'll come back to you in a couple of days and thank you for your comments which will be passed on to the relevant people. After a week I emailed them again and asked if the relevant people had come up with an answer, they just said that they like to refresh their formats from time to time but thank you for your comments.

It would be great if you get a better answer than mine. They will probably quote the viewing figures.

They were clearly told to do the show in Ryan's big brother spin off style

1.5 million is fairly decent and would hazard a guess a lot of very young people would watch a show with Vicky on it but have no interest in the main show

I watched all of Extra Camp last night as it was the final..

Wow. I thought it was awful & glad I didn't watch it throughout the series.

VP telling Joel he will be "knee deep in f___y now he's out" - what a beautiful moment

I'm no prude by any means but it looked as though everyone except those 4 dire presenters was mortally embarrassed to the be there.
the woman should never be there her mouth is dreadful in more ways than one.

This show is truely horrendous. I have watched every one of the spin off shows from durdan-smith, willis, flack, whitmore but these 4 ...no no no.

It does not work in the slightest. They are just dreadful.

The show needs proper people with presenting skills, there must be hundreds out there who would kill for a job like this who has actually studied in presenting. Let them make a name for themselves instead of these muppets. The kids from secret lives of 4 yr olds would make a better job of it than this mob.
