Rinder out at last .. thank goodness!
No surprise at this stage of the competition to see Judge Rinder go out.
I've never liked watching him dance and frankly I'm amazed he's remained in it for so long. To be honest I'm still not really sure who he is; surely not a real judge? With a name like 'Judge Rinder' he sounds more like a rap artist, except I think he's probably far too 'gentle' to be one of those! Now we're closing in on the final rounds, I'd really like to see one of the girls win the glitter ball, but with all the fawning over Danny that goes on every week I think they'll have a job to stop him. |

its not a huge surprise to see Rob leave but I really enjoyed watching him learn to dance
sorry I had no clue who he was either and yes, I believe he is a real judge sorry to see him and Oksana get knocked out, I loved their partnership and it was lovely to see him fully embrace learning to dance |

Yes, he is a barrister not a legal judge. I bloody loved him. Just saying. |

OP, Instead of posting that you don't know anything about him why don't you use Google to find out? There's a very good article on Wikepedia about him.
I was surprised he did the show at first but have found him to be a great contestant and like him a great deal more now than I did before. |

The only problem I had with him (and to be fair, it wasn't down to him) was him constantly being referred to as 'Judge'.
His name is Rob. |

I loved him and even though it was expected, I was gutted that he left. With him and Ed gone the fun has completely left the series now and I feel very meh about the last 2 shows for the first time ever. Don't have a strong interest in who wins now apart from please don't be Ore.

Is that any different to Anastacia and Danny not using their surnames?

Rappers are often perceived as rather aggressive characters (whether they are or not is immaterial) and Rinder just doesn't come across that way.
To be fair, there have been loads of other posters in the same vein. We haven't all got the time to keep trawling through the internet in search of all that stuff. Instead of wagging your finger at us, you could have quietly explained who he is!

You just made a show of yourself, do you realise that? And speak for yourself, I LOVED HIM 💖❤️💗 |

I couldn't stand him and his gurning, and yes I know it's a cliche, but his limp wrist action really annoyed me.
Glad to see the back of him AND Balls |

It's always refreshing when someone takes the time to make a thread to discuss a minority viewpoint. Particularly when it is so positive and uplifting in nature. Thank you for sharing.

The first time I saw him I thought he could dance but I don't think he improved as much as I expected him to (same goes for Ore). I will miss him although I am a Danny fan. |

I am with the antis on this. I found him unbearably affected, hated the gurning, and thought his dancing was rarely more than adequate and usually poor. The samba was just embarrassing. So sorry to all his fans, but to see him go was a massive relief.

Unnecessary and slight nasty thread. He may have been the weakest dancer left but a lot of people ( including me) genuinely enjoyed his routines and are sorry to see him go.

I was actually a fan to start with but I gradually got weary of all the gushing after every dance. He just seemed to go on and on. Sometimes less is more.

Loved him. Probably his time to go but it will be a less bright and colourful competition without him.
I hope he continues to learn how to dance. He seemed to really take to it. |
