I think know I said this before, but it was heavily talked about at bootcamp that they were really pushing this year for a group to win. This has come from contestants directly that I speak to who was at bootcamp and all they kept saying we need a group to win behind the scenes.
This is all making sense now how much they are pusing them.
Seems to me they are de railing Saara now sending her home. Whilst 5am will get a good homecoming in leicester where I am from.

I actually think it is utterly irrelevant. Saara has without doubt the "best" voice but is probably not marketable. Matt is weak, insipid and has no personality so even if he does win he is a one hit wonder. They want to do a JLS on 5AM. It matters not that two of them can't sing, with backing tacks and autotune why should that be a problem?

Well the final three all get a one album deal, so their future depends on sales. Someone gets the title but it means little after the competition, if Simon gets better sales from a runner up, the winner doesn't get signed after the first album. Getting to the final is what counts in the end.

Why would Matt have been 'the choice since lives'? He's just another mediocre male singer, like Ben Haenow who did really badly.

Doesn't the fact that no one can agree on who the producers want to win indicate that the producers are trying to give every act their best shot at the final and maybe the world isn't conspiring behind your back?

I don't think they care who wins out of these 3. They are going to spend almost all the budget on 5am regardless of whether they win or not.

From the start and at this point there is no indication that Matt is the one they want to win. The fact that different acts have topped the votes, and Matt who was automatically considered to be the 'chosen one' landed in the bottom 2, shows that the competition is not a one horse race.

Saara has the best vocal, and in my mind she is better than the other two acts that are in the final. In the real world she deserves to win however in the world of the X Factor, she may not be recognised for her performances.

I have said on countless occasions that Saara will do well even if she doesn't win, and in truth why would you want to win this show? You get a record contract where you are controlled by SYCO, and the likliehood is that she would get dropped after a year.

SYCO like young, and Matt Terry/ 5AM fit into that cheesy pop young mould in which Simon likes..

All she can do is sing and continue to fight.

But 5AM are not a great reflection of British talent though. Aside from the fact that the format of th group is one lead singer and 2 backing singers, to me they don't have originality or quirkiness LM or the "hot" factor 1D had. Rough Copy IMO are everything 5AM try to be but fail woefully.

That's all subjective. You make out a group having one lead singer is destined for failure: Destiny's Child, Take That, most Motown groups...? Actually there's nothing in your post that is factual.

Also there's something OUTDATED about your post. Those group formats have worked in the past. They don't anymore. Simple. As you were....

They can all sing at least adequately. They've had their weaker moments but so did Little Mix in their year. Just because there aren't (m)any big groups around at the moment with lead vocalists, that doesn't mean they can't be successful. Anyway, just because there's a lead during the live shows, that doesn't mean they won't share the vocals on record.

If they win, they win. I wanted Saara to make it near the end or the final, which she has done. Even if she leaves this Sunday coming, I'll be happy.

Out of the three that's left, I think Simon would rather they win. They are probably gonna have the most success out of the 3 that's left. Matt will be a repeat of Ben Haenow. Simon will probably allow him to make an album of original material, it'll sell moderately well but not enough for Simon to keep him.

In terms of Saara, I think Simon will have absolutely no idea what to do with her and will be desperate to get rid of her ASAP. I think she'll probably record a covers albums of musical/Disney type songs that will be released March/April time. She'll perform on a live show in October then will be dropped January/February 2018

At least with 5 After Midnight, if they take their time next year and work with the right producers and create decent music that's right for them, they could have some success and last a few years. It'll basically be a repeat of JLS' career. They'll be successful in the UK but wont have international success. They'll make 3 or 4 albums, sales will decline after the first couple of albums, release a greatest hits album then split.

Or they will become the next Rough Copy, Reggie N Bollie, Che Chesterson, Misha B i.e give great on stage performances on the show, lots of hype but amount to nothing in the real music world.

At this moment i think Sara has this won. Her journey is amazing! I wouldn't sign Matt personally, it's just asking to lose money which is what Cowell has realised he'd be the next Ben, Joe etc. 5 After Midnight would the right song could do it and Emily again with the right sound has a shot. A weak year though.

Simon doesn't have to sign her to his label. Anyway, look at Susan Boyle, she's still signed to his label and she has a singing style very much like Saara's. I suspect though that Saara will likely look for theatre work or continue to do what she was doing before she auditioned for this show now that her profile has been massively boosted. I think 5 After Midnight and the other tour contestants will be concentrating on touring with the X Factor next year.

Probably. Cowell's lickspittle moutpiece at the Sun Dan Wooton keeps posting nasty artcles about Saara-implying that she is a cheater, that Sharon hates her, that the 10,000 strong crowd at her homecoming gig was a "display of force" from Helsinki etc

well if she wins, he doesn't have a choice because the prize is a recording contract with SYCO. Most of the winners I highly doubt he wanted to sign in the first place ie Steve, Leon, Sam etc. Its was very obvious when Sam won, she clearly stated on Xtra Factor and interviews shortly after she didn't want to do a covers album and she wanted to write her own songs then at the end of January, all of a sudden shes releasing a covers album for Mothers Day and even though it got to No1 and got a rerelease special edition, Simon still dropped her.
