Well, looks like I was right guys.
![]() Looks like its going to be another stormy, wet and windy Xmas this year. Xmas day looks to be mild, wet and windy once more. Temperatures could reach 14c in London on Sunday, 11-13c likely for most other places in the country. So probably about 0.000001% chance of white Christmas this year. Unless you live in the Scottish Highlands of course

None of the above as I'd rather it was sunny to go out and enjoy oneself

And yet the monthly outlook on the BBC disagrees with you:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2635167#outlook While the usual caveats about long-range forecasting apply, you'd think that if you were right then the outlook would reflect that. Note that I've never suggested we'll have a white Christmas; just that the milder weather won't necessarily last. |

To be fair, the OP's not as fixated on the weather as the Daily Express.

British weather is so disappointing. No clear cut seasons. I should be wearing a hat, scarf and gloves. I don't think I've had the car heater on since last year!!

I don't know why, but that explanation reminded me of a spoof weather forecast, an African American man standing in a blizzard, reporting the weather and just explaining "It's snowing sideways"
