It was more related to disabled people who are capable, but otherwise don't feel the need because they're got a steady income from doing nothing. That's not just disabled people might I add; that's people who falsely claim off the benefit system too.

One guy I know from where I used to live was off work, claiming off the benefit system for a bad back. Apparently he had a job walking, but that didn't stop him from chopping wood or lifting a sofa.

I didn't shift anything, I simply went with the flow of conversation and answered in kind. I'm not suggesting that refugees should speak English, no. I am however suggesting that their rights (if that's the right term to use, possibly not) should be the same as ours. You need only look at some of the refugees pouring in from the middle-east to question that!

Nope! Single parents are in the same boat here. This is more to do with better sex education than anything else though!

Sorry, I guess because I'm a guy the blame seems to automatically shift to the women. That's not what I meant; both genders are responsible for their actions.

Thanks for stopping by, don't let the door hit you on your way out!

Well someone got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning...
I have never once stated that the sick, disabled (etc etc) shouldn't get help, have I? Quite likely that's your misguided interpretation of what I've posted. My concern is that some payments are going out to people, many of which could contribute to society if they so wished it.
There's a guy I know (kind of) from Norway somewhere, at least I think it's Norway, might be Sweden. Regardless, back in my younger days I gamed quite a bit, and got into game modifications. This guy joined the community and started to produce models for the game. Little did anyone else know at the time that he was elderly (at least 60) and wheelchair bound.
I got talking to him one evening, and he told me how he wanted to help contribute to the youth of today, so he taught himself how to do 3d modelling - that's something to aspire too. I've attempted 3d modelling myself, and it was beyond me, yet this guy taught himself within the space of a year, and he was releasing some high-end work. It's a shame he never went any further with it, cause he was sure capable.

Yes, sorry, you (and
muggins) are right to call me out on this one. I should have said women who can't keep their legs closed, and men who can't keep their trousers up?!

Obviously you don't know the Internet as well as you think you do!

I can't speak from fact, as I have none to provide, but I always thought/think that there are too many people; not just in Britain, but globally. When we're seemingly struggling with employment, and prices are forever on the rise, is a larger population really what we need?
I'd rather have a smaller, better educated population than a larger uneducated one.
