As we head into the final what has been your performance of the series so far?

Mine would be Relley C week 1 - Shackles

Can I include Sada Vidoo's audition with "Love Is a Battlefield"? Even if it was previously recorded, it blew me away.

Took the words right out of my mouth. 100% agree. How did Relley not make the final or af least the quarter/semi finals or worst case scenario the week 5 shock elimination

How things could have been different in other hands.

And she went out to Four of Diamonds... What a disgrace.

My favourite favourite performance of the entire series though (Initially I was just thinking about the finals) is the bootcamp "Work from Home" performance by Gift, Analise and Chenai. Gifty set the foundations and Analise just took it somewhere else.

I can't say favourite but a few:

Say You'll Be There - 5AM
Jump - Honey G
MIB - Honey G
The Winner Takes it All - Saara Alto
It Must Have Been Love - Emily Middlemas
That time when Gifty shouted for a while before being sent home.

Several performances come to my mind when trying to choose a "Performance of the season".

Relley C - Shackles
Mat Terry - Writing's On The Wall
Emily Middlemas - Creep

And then there is Saara

Saara Aalto - It's Oh So Quiet
Saara Aalto - No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)
Saara Aalto - The Winner Takes It All

I would say "Oh it's so quiet" because that turn things around for Saar and I guess bit for competition overall.

Saara - Enough is Enough is Enough is Enough
Snap! Although it's called No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)

It was one of the best vocal performances of the series. Not one flat note and showed off Saara's personality as well as excellent singing.

I'm a bit annoyed they made Emily do a similar thing every week after Creep, as it's diluted the effect of it, as it was really good and clever. That probably would have gotten my vote had they not milked it for all its worth and now I'm tired of the whole concept.

Can't remember the early performances very well, that's how average the standard has been this year. Out of the ones I do remember I was most surprised by Ryan - Jailhouse Rock. I wouldn't claim it as the 'performance of the series' but the most surprising.

And of course Saara - No More Tears. Helped by everyone else really stinking that week, which made the quality gap that much more obvious.

Not the best vocal technically, and it probably wouldn't even hit anybody elses radar for this contestant as the original song seems to be highly controversial, and this act had a horror first live show and that's Sam's version of Hello.

I loved the deep, husky vocal at the beginning as the Guitar's playing through very faint and almost kinda haunting in the background, and the staging had a nice dark effect that didn't overwhelm and overshadow her, I also felt like she put her most passion into that performance with it's more gothic vibe and Rock tones.

Before the lives I think I'm either going for Christian Burrows How To Save A Life, Peyton's Moving On Up, or Sada's Love Is A Battlefield, or Sada's Numb.

I really enjoyed Saara's "Sound of the Underground". The judges (Simon particularly) didn't like her outfit but I thought she seemed like she was having such a good time up there on stage.
