10,000 crowd capacity, landmark location, big pyrotechnic show

I take back what I said in an earlier thread that Saara'a homecoming shouldn't have been in Helsinki as this is amazing, and much better than 100 people gathered into a random club somewhere in London

Those are amazing scenes, they held it in Helsinki Senate Square beside the Parliament.......looks fantastic with the huge Christmas tree and all those people.

Holy shit, that's amazing. This is actually lining up to be quite an interesting final. She must be so chuffed with that sort of homecoming. Great work, Finland.

Actually nowhere near the Finnish parliament, but who cares. It looks great

Big domed building behind Saara is the Helsinki Cathedral.

Finnish people are always willing to gather at the city square, whether its the win at the hockey tournament or free concert

The timing couldn't have been better either - today is Finland's Independence Day which is a public holiday so the 5th is always a really busy night out.

Yeah, there was a ton of people there to see Saara last night. She sang that ABBA song good considering the temperature wouldn't have exactly been mild. I was going to give up at one point last night when it looked like it could be another 30 minutes before she made an appearance but she then made an appearance. Just imagine trying to sing at your best in that temperature.

This is probably the best video of it, as it has all the songs.

It looks bloody freezing but what an incredible turn out.

With the right management she could be pulling in crowds like that all over the world in 12 months time.

That is a fantastic turn out. Although I am gutted she couldn't do this in the U.K. - as it could have well drummed up more votes for her - I doubt her gig would have had the same impact. Not only was it packed with people but she put on a show. With the fireworks, it looks spectacular and something that will really stand out in her vt.

Oops. I misread the 'Government Palace' in the square as being the Parliament......seems it is the office of the Prime Minister instead

I notice that's followed by another video of the full concert, if the first one isn't working for whatever reason.
( mind, this might not work either, if your location is the problem?)
