I love them both and Saara loves Adam so much. Wow, I can't wait too see this!!

Quote:
“X-FACTOR'S X-OVER

Meanwhile NICOLE SCHERZINGER is capitalising on SIMON COWELL losing out at the final hurdle.

I’ve learned The X Factor judge is swiping guest star JAMES ARTHUR from her boss. Simon had lined up his act EMILY MIDDLEMAS to sing with James, but she was axed on Sunday night.

If James swaps allegiances to help out Nicole, who mentored him when he won the show in 2012, it could give her remaining hopeful, MATT TERRY, the winning edge in Saturday’s showdown.

The duo will go up against The X Factor favourite SARAA AALTO and American Idol powerhouse ADAM LAMBERT.

However, it’s LOUIS WALSH who could be set to pull off one of the best signings after eyeing up THE WEEKND to support his group, 5 AFTER MIDNIGHT.

While Simon has no acts left in the final, he hasn’t taken a break from trying to call in the favours. He has roped in Grammy-winning SAM SMITH and X Factor champs LITTLE MIX to perform.

An X Factor spokesperson declined to comment on the rumoured names, but it has been confirmed that all of this year’s finalists – including HONEY G – will return for one last group performance.”

Interesting, I think Adam Lambert is a good choice, James Arthur is a bit of a strange one for Matt and considering Sam Smith is going to be there the fact he refused to duet makes Matt seem a bit of an afterthought (Siniging with Nicole would be better)

The Weeknd with 5am will seem like a hot mess I'm guessing but what performance of theirs isn't and at least the cast of thousands will be seen on stage this time

The ****ing Weeknd with 5AM?

It's hard to believe the show can still pull it off.

His songs would be a nightmare for the boys, he's an amazing vocalist and they just... aren't. At all.

I love Adam, but could do without Saara. I could never warm up to her. I saw from the start that she is a competent singer and performer, but that's about it. Too often she comes across as fake on camera. I felt bad for her when she was in the bottom in weeks 1 and 2, because she didn't deserve it, but once she got on the X Factor tour, I was like, okay, now you can go home.

James Arthur with Matt Terry
The Weeknd with 5AM
Adam Lambert with Saara Alto

Not looking that good for Saara really. I mean he can sing really well so I'm sure the actual vocal performance could be great, it's just I don't think people really know him at all in the UK. I feel mixed. It might be great and people won't care that he's a little anonymous in the UK.

[changed as noticed The Weeknd]

I thought The Weeknd was likely given he has so much to promote right now. That's a perfect match for 5AM to be fair. Hats off to X Factor if that's true. I would have much preferred a Leona Lewis match with Saara. At least the UK knows her.

Matt getting the worst duet...
they CLEARLY don't want him to win.

Ugh, I hope that 5am group are out first.

Adam is more well known and loved in Finland, so it makes sense ...

Saara said weeks ago he was her ideal duet partner, so it seems they are giving her what she wants.

Matt said Sam Smith, but apparently Smith turned it down.

5am said The Weekend...though "Louis eyeing him up" and actually getting him are 2 different things.

Yes, people here in Finland will go CRAZY over Saara's and Adam's duet!!

I really can't call it who's going to win based on this.

I mean Saara has got the toughest job tonight as a Finnish out LGBT woman who is performing her duet with a not very well known out LGBT man.

I hope Adam is measured and doesn't just go off into wild riffing. There's an art to having a moment and you don't want to ruin with needless acrobatics. I don't prefer this year's acts but I'm more interested in the final than I was last year where it was clear that Louisa was gonna win.

I'll be astonished if The Weeknd agrees to do it, but I guess Beyoncé did so perhaps it's true....It's a deeply uncool gig but then so is the VS show and he did that last week.

Actually, I suspect Saara has got the best pick of all - whilst Adam hasn't got the name recognition of some, he's got the most incredible voice AND he's a veteran of American Idol, I'm sure he knows exactly what is needed in these situations. I very much doubt he'll look on this duet as an exercise in his own vanity for the performance. He's previously mentored on AI, and he was very clever and savvy with his advice and coaching for the contestants then.

What we'll likely get is the best vocals of the night - I just hope they get a decent song, but both of them can basically sing anything! As for the others, I predict The Weeknd to be a bit of a hot mess duet, and I just can't work out whether James Arthur will actually help Matt. I don't rate James' voice at all, so it might just show that Matt can sing better than a previous XF winner - maybe that's what they want people to think. I just don't see it being a decent duet - as others have said, Sam Smith would have been a much better choice, and it'll be very telling if it's true he turned down the duet.

James Arthur was woeful when he did this on Australian X Factor last month.

All the above. This pairing has the potential to be electric if they dont sing a snoozefest of a song, which is pretty much what James Arthur would be doing. On top of that, both of them are good looking.

Why do people think Adam is that unknown? He appeared with Queen on XF in 2014 when touring and I remember a lot of posters here being really excited about it.

Does the song have to ne from duet partners catalogue? Only song I remember from Adam is aftermath, I think he had minor hit in Finland from his last album year ago or is it even longer? Just as random fact on Voice of Finland final Saara sing her own song My Love.

Nope! In 2011 it was Billy Joel, Alicia Keys and Ike and Tina Turner.

I love Adam, such a strong powerful voice but I do not want him to sing with Saara, it will be a shouting match. On the other hand I would love him to sing with Matt

I could not agree more re Saara, she comes across as fake as her votes.

I don't think it matters at this stage how well known he is. Compared to the other duets this has the potential to be the one that people will remember for good reasons. Adam Lambert is an amazing singer and performer. He is also very unselfish and will make sure this duet will showcase Saara rather than a stage hogging self promotion i.e. Scherzinger and Sam Bailey.

Not necessarily

He can reel it in if the situation call for it.

What an excellent idea!

I think it's going to be epic, whatever song they get.

I think of all the duets, it's saaras that has the most potential. I don't think it matters that he's not that well known in the U.K. as I truely believe the duets will be remembered for the performance and not the partner. I'm just picturing Adam and saara together and I feel with the right song, they could have a real moment and bring something special. Matt and James sounds soul destroying. The jury is out for 5 after midnight and the weekend.

I think you are underestimating the number of fans Adam has over here. I had given up on the X Factor but will definitely be watching now! Some of his charisma might well transfer to her whereas imo James Arthur will be the kiss of death for Matt Terry. It feels like he is being set up to fail.

Seriously? He's brilliant and I would go to one of his concerts in a heartbeat.
