Appears to be a lack of such stories this year.

Any pensioner? Prisoners are going to eat better than the Queen on Christmas Day

I'm actually missing this year's 'Winterval' and equally false stories about Muslims wanting Christmas banned ...hell, there's not even a Nativity play story about not featuring the baby Jesus , along with the 'in case it offends' narrative.

However, I'm sure there are Daily Mail 'journalists' scurrying around like little rats in local councils, schools, workplaces, checking Twitter, Facebook etc for even a whiff of a story,...so there's still time.

A bloke called Dave down the pub swears he knows of a school near his sister's house that's banned the Nativity play this year cos it offended Muslims. Or Jews.

I'm quite sure some right-wing, Brexit voting, flag waving Little Englander Alf Garnet clone will try to stir up anti-anybody-not-like-them hatred with a completely contrived story.... dreamed up out of nowhere.... to say that Christmas has got to be banned because it offends any one of the following (take your pick):

Muslims / Hindus / foreigners / Jews / anybody who isn't white, ethnic British (whatever that is) / homosexuals / anyone wearing a goatee beard (obviously a leftie) / foreigners / Hampstead residents / foreigners /migrants / Sikhs / benefit claimants / Oh, and foreigners.

You'll be able to spot the post immediately by the link to a Daily Mail article on the top line.

Can confirm that Christmas has not been cancelled at my workplace here in Lostville. They are even laying on a lunchtime thank you buffet (which is separate from group Christmas lunches, which work is also paying for on a team-by-team basis) with a choir of volunteers singing carols.

Very festive.

Ask the daily Mail.
They usually find out, or if that fails they invent.

The only people who go on about "Christmas being banned" are people who want to be outraged at "Christmas being banned" (with the associated racist undertones).

Nah, all the fictional "look-at-what-the-EU-are-doing", "it's-PC-gone-mad" stories have been diverted to Brexit articles, instead.

It's elf and santa gorn mad

SCROOGES at a local council and housing association have slapped a “mad” festive ban on Christmas wreaths and decorations.

A mum in south London came home to find stickers demanding the removal of decorations while East Devon Council has banned wreaths and other festive ornaments from the communal areas of its properties arguing they could be a fire risk.

Wasting your time I'm afraid. It's now written in blood that the majority who dared to vote this way MUST be right wing.

Who knew?
