So you think that Louise deserved all the marks she got for her dances.
39 for a Waltz with an illegal lift and raised shoulders. 39 For an AT, with not much content It's also easy for a female to be lead and placed by a male pro than vice a versa. I think Louise will top the Leaderboard this Saturday, can't see being in the bottom, but Danny and Louise be in the bottom two, judges will save Louise. And sorry, are we saying Danny's AT was ripped straight from the streets of Buenos Aires? Because even as a non-dancer it looked far more stagey than any authentic one |

Danny and Louise in the DO. What I wouldn't give to see that! What a hoot. |

But these are details, not basic, fundamental errors in execution...

No A frame either and frantic - I think it was overmarked, along with the Charleston and the Tango.
So 'shrugs'. I'll stop responding at this point I think |

Because even as a non-dancer it looked far more stagey than any authentic one For me Danny's AT looked more difficult than Louise's. Even Karen said that Kevin is playing safe with his choreo and has to up his game. I had rather someone attempt a hard dance a few errors than just dance simple ones. Even their QS was a slow one. |

Don't think this scenario will play out as I just can't imagine Danny falling into the D/O but if it did happen I think it would simply be a case of who dances better. There wouldn't be much in it but Danny is the one more liable to make a mistake so I'd edge towards Louise going through. Almost impossible to call though.

BIB - Raised shoulders and illegal lift fall into that category.

I genuinely am indifferent to Louise staying or going at this point, but I just feel like this favouritism shtick is overblown.
I'll stop responding at this point I think I think people can argue 'overmarked' etc. all over the shop, and do. But I just can't see that there's any real evidence that Louise is 'favoured' over Danny. Especially recently, it's all a bit sort of mad to me. |

Well, I'm confident in the impartiality of the posters in the ballroom and latin thread - who felt that Louise's Waltz merited the score. They decidedly did not for Danny's (Tango).
But in answer to the OP, I think if there was anyway they could without looking idiotic like they did in the Greg V Claudia DO, they would save Danny. And they would probably be right to. |

I preferred Danny's Tango to Louise's Waltz. If Louise deserved her marks, then Danny deserved more. |

But could that not be because certain people are simply of that opinion? There seems to be no bias from Zoe, who always talks favourably of Danny - and tries to steer away from any negativity towards any of the contestants.
If a couple of celebs wanted to come on and say Louise is dull or whatever, I'm sure it wouldn't be treated with the same suspicion ETA - I do get it though, but I think things like that are very subjective i.e a general "feeling" that there is negativity - and people will be more perceptive if things are said about their favourite. I am definitely guilty of it on many occasions.

I have said all the dances on last Saturday were overmarked, but the Leaderboard was correct, may be I might have placed Claudia on top of Louise.

And he got more, so how does that make him less favoured?

I said, I preferred Danny's Tango ( 38) to Louise's Waltz (39).
I don't think that's enough to stand as evidence of the judges favouring Louise. Truly. Especially as technically that Tango really wasn't great, even though you liked it more. |

I don't think it is possible to predict. I think it would genuinely depend on how they danced. Sorry if that thought is too controversial!
It's funny actually - I really like both Louise and Danny and see no bias either way. Maybe those two points are related? But seriously, I think what a lot of people see as bias and favouritism is simply inconsistency amongst the judges. Sometimes they point out mistakes, sometimes they don't. They often overmark, then have nowhere to go but up. They're not infallible. |

![]() I think they really want Louise in the final but if push comes to shove they wouldn't be stupid to send Danny packing, they would send Louise. |

Agreed and if someone doesn't like someone it's hard to be unbiased, some very obviously so.

Danny in my opinion is clearly the stronger dancer across the board, but depending on the dances I could see a swing for Louise.
In terms of how that'd pan out, I could see Craig picking Danny along with Darcey and Bruno/Len opting to save Louise. But hoping Danny isn't the bottom two so I don't have to see what they'd do!

If Danny and Louise were in the bottom 2, who do you think the judges would vote for? I think they would have a difficult choice as I think they want them both in the final.

Well, of course they would vote for Kevin & Louise. He is so sure he will win that he is painting his head with creosote, even as I write ,to look like he has a thick head of hair when he is presented with the glitter ball.

I CAN see ONE of them in the dance off this week BUT NOT BOTH, IF BOTH were in the dance off, I think it will either be 3-1 in favour of Danny (Craig, Darcey, Bruno) or 2-2 in favour of Louise (Bruno, Len)
