Looks like the current series of Haven being shown on Freeview's Pick will, according to tv guide http://www.radiotimes.com/tv-program...n--s3-e9-sarah (no listed transmissions), ends prematurely at season 3 episode 9.

Does anyone know if it will continue after Xmas?

As far as I know, the RT listings don't go more than two weeks in advance - and it seems most channels don't dare to predict that far ahead either - so it might be that it's not ending, and either just going on a brief holiday for the holidays, as it were, or stepping aside for all the seasonal specials before resuming at some point further in the future than the visible window...?

So in answer to your question, "no, I don't know" but on the other hand I don't see why not.

I've looked in the Xmas edition of a TV mag and they appear to stop over the Xmas period, replaced by "Border Security:Australia's Front Line", which they're showing for the next 2 weeks.

That's good news, thanks. I thought tv schedules were only available for the next 7 days. Can you please provide a link?

I had a very confused moment at the beginning of the second half of the two-parter that had the christmas episode wedged in between until I realised that the 'previously on' bit was showing the tail-end of the first half that my recorder had generously managed to chop off, which had included a rather critical detail so I was rather grateful for that...

OTOH they get points for not doing one of those typical vomitworthy christmas ones that plague TV-land. Unless we still have that to look forward to.

Digiguide goes a lot further ahead than that, although after a couple of weeks you tend to get more and more slots: 'to be announced'.

Having said that, at the moment, they seem to have pretty complete listing until January the third, three and a half weeks hence.

So is there something about time travel that requires the use of 1955?

I don't understand: I too was caught out by the vomitworthy xmas edition between the 2-part cliffhanger. Are you saying it was a good xmas edition? Awful timing though!

Relatively speaking, the TV didn't have anything thrown at it

My personal pet favourite hated one was in V (original) when Ham turns up in a santa outfit suddenly not hating kids any more. Truly vomitworthy.
