Govt will agree to Labour's motion tomorrow to publish a Brexit 'plan', but also challenge MPs to agree PM's Article 50 timetable.

Doubt it, they will publish a plan but it will be light on detail and very very vague.

I assume you've read the Labour motion? Can't get away with being vague

Makes even less sense now to appeal to the SC but hey ho.

But with amendments.

The only amendment is to agree to the A 50 timetable.

Well the strap line on Sky says "The Govt accepts Labour's motion which demands it publish its Brexit plan before triggering the formal process to leave the EU"

Well that is no problem if they wanted they could publish a meaningless plan one day and trigger the process the next and there is nothing Labour could do about it apart from carp and they would do that anyway ..............

You are aware that this only happened because she was about to lose majority in the Commons.

Labour's motion was supported by the SNP, Lib Dems and 40 Tories.

Guess what would happen if she lies (notwithstanding the upcoming Supreme Court ruling).

What is the source of your information? No mention of "tomorrow" on Sky and nothing on BBC.

Sky does not mention "tomorrow".

It says

The Government has said it will publish its Brexit plan before Article 50 is invoked, the formal process to leave the EU.

This whole charade is going to fall apart. How could it ever have done anything else?

When Soubry is happy to join Corbyn, you know the stakes are high. This whole debacle was a mechanism to hold the Tory party together - it will be blown apart once this is over.

I hope it's fatal for them.

It's astounding... A few hours ago she had her minions trash Labour, the SNP and the Lib Dem's by saying they're trying to frustrate Parliament and the will of the people by tabling this motion.

Now she caves. You couldn't make it up.

And the appeal is going worse than she could have ever expected.

Exactly.
How many times have we heard Government say we plan to do this and that or we have no plans to do that only for it all to be turned on its head.

Oh get with the programme or stop making silly claims. The motion is debated and voted tomorrow in Parliament and she was about to lose the vote on it, so she made a U-Turn.

The Labour motion has been all over the news since Sunday and even more so yesterday after 40 Tory MPs decided to support it.
