NB. Never thought I'd even give a minute of my time to Labour but hey.
In recent years I have been much more in sympathy with the Tories than Labour, but that has completely dissolved. I would never vote for them under any circumstance in future. They have betrayed the country. And May is a disgrace. |

Ian-Duncan Smith made a great point.
It is down to why people voted to Leave and majority wanted control of borders - you can't do that in the Single Market as we will be governed by EU laws. Which is at the heart of the matter.. to simplify it. Norway model is Soft Brexit. |

He should probably take a look at his own party on that score. |

Really? what I heard him say was that the Opposition haven't defined what "leaving" means.
He should probably take a look at his own party on that score. IDS agreed with me that I'd rather stay in the EU if that's the road we go down ! |

Labour want their cake and eat it.. they will support to leave but want us to stay in the EU in all but name, same as SNP..
IDS agreed with me that I'd rather stay in the EU if that's the road we go down ! The whole thing will be so watered down, we'll still have FoM, still be in the single market, still paying a fortune, but without any say - exactly the worst position we could be in, and it will be entirely the fault of the remainers for insisting on doing it their way. But will they admit that they ruined everything? No, they'll still blame brexiters for the debacle. |

I knew what would happen as soon as that Miller woman brought her court case.

All the government will need to do is put forward a credible plan to achieve all of the things you say you want. They have a majority, so all May needs to do is get her own party on board. Sooner or later, the people responsible for this are going to have to actually take some responsibility. |

Labour? and the almost 40 Tory MPs who back Labours amendment,
They pretend to support the referendum result but then make unecessary amendments. NB. Some of the comments you have received have been out of order |

I did indeed a Labour amendment which would have got nowhere without some considerable support from the Tories.
as for knowing what people are thinking I am afraid you have me on that one as I don't have that particular super power. |

Me neither, but your devotion to the Tories ought to be questioned. It is only their utterly selfish attempt to preserve themselves that has brought us to this debacle.
In recent years I have been much more in sympathy with the Tories than Labour, but that has completely dissolved. I would never vote for them under any circumstance in future. They have betrayed the country. And May is a disgrace. Sorry to burst that bubble of yours that it's all the fault of those pesky Tories. |
