Seriously is that it for them? All that hype last year, Cheryl buzzing about them and one song and it didn't smash at all and that's it? No album then...

Wow, Cowell really is getting picky these days! Normally the runner up bar last season has almost always released a album at least.

Most Syco acts release one single now then fade away, Little Mix being the current exception.

Did anyone actually believe that Reggie 'N' Bollie were going to have a successful career?

The new single is most likely gonna flop on its arse and be forgotten about within 7 days.

Nah, Jedward got a UK #2 and actually did well at Eurovision.

Jedward are easily the most successful joke act probably of all time.

(unless you mean on X Factor's live shows then yes!!! )

Had not checked their twitter, what a coincidence!

It's not going to do well if the debut didn't, is Syco still involved or have they already dropped them?

I think they'll become the first ever runners up to not release an album
G4, Andy, Ray, Rhydian, JLS, Olly, Rebecca, Marcus, Nicholas, Jahmene, Fleur all released albums.

Their debut was 26, but sales were top 15, streaming didn't really hit the ground, this one will probably end up charting similar so I reckon they will be an act they just hits outside the top 20 with their singles!

I can't see this doing better than the debut...

There song 'New Girl' was actually very catchy and it probably would have been a top 10 hit if it wasn't for streaming. It spent a good week or so in the top 10 on ITunes !

I loved New Girl! Not heard the follow up yet but I'm looking forward to it.

The snippet on their twitter sounds dreadful, I always like Reggie N Bollie but I can't see them having any success with that song.

The writing was on the wall when New Girl underperformed. They had the benefit of the Littlewoods advert and it should have gone top 10, regardless of the hit from lack of streaming.

I liked it too. I thought it'd be No.1 on iTunes easily but it never happened even though it spent a week at top 10 on that chart. Very catchy...nice debut...but they didn't materialise in to what i thought they would into...

I actually forgot about them its weird how they released 'New Girl', did a few TV performances than totally disappeared ! like blueface2222 has said, they'll be the first 2nd place act not to release an album if they don't

I must admit though, as fun and as much as I did enjoy them on x factor, I cant see them being successful. if they released an album, every song would sound exactly the same - Ibiza/dance and they would be constantly stuck in that genre. I can imagine them being able to do a ballad or even a pop song to be honest
