Ore chucked under a bus then! The rest aren't that bad but his 'choices' are awful!

Bye Ore - been nice knowing you! ![]() I'm being a realist as an Ore supporter knowing he won't reach the final. ![]() But, I really hope he & Jo pulls it off this weekend and silence all his critics who have dismissed him as a finalist for weeks now. |

Danny and Louise have the best songs. Really like the salsa and samba choices. Why doesn't every celeb get such good music for their dances?
Claudia's choices seem appropriate. Ore's been stuffed. He's the one 'they' want gone this week ... |

Really looking forward to Ore & Jo's quickstep. Could be brilliant, really good song choice. Worried about their AT, though!
Was really hoping for the semi final we might get decent song choices for once. Eternal optimism fails me once again

Ore's AT song does sound a bit odd at first but actually could see it working if it was slowed down.
You can always rely on the tango though for a ridiculous music choice. Glad All Over sounds a bonkers choice for a tango. That said the other song choices for both Ore and Louise are brilliant and Claudia & Danny's songs are relatively sensible. |

Ore and Joanne will be dancing the Quickstep to ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl?’ by Jet
Such a good song! Should work really well with the QS.

Aliona was the one who started this a few weeks back about Louise & how the Producers will be pushing for Louise.
Aliona really has become quite obnoxious, working her way up to being the female equivalent of James Jordan! FACT! |

Claudia's choices seem appropriate. Ore's been stuffed. He's the one 'they' want gone this week ... If his QS is really good, he might be able to survive the DO. (Actually, do they get to choose which of their 2 dances to perform in the DO? I can't recall.) |

I can see a pared-down version of the Kylie song working for a Strictly AT but Glad All Over for a ballroom tango??? Just...whut?

![]() Some reports say that the Producers allocate the music to each couple, other reports say that the Pro's picks the music from the list. I think it maybe the former but the Pro's have an input how each music is arranged to suit the style of the dance. |

It's usually the best scoring dance that's picked for the DO

Try this version by Irish singer Jack Lukeman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZdO8Kennrc
We aren't going to get a single good tango to proper music this year. It's my favourite dance. On the other hand this is a show were a tango to 'You Really Got Me' got 40, so maybe this is what Strictly thinks the tango is now. Sigh. Given that 'Glad All Over' has a real echo for me of the mood of Kellie and Kevin's 40 tango and loads of other Kevin dances, it's not impossible that he chose that. I think 'When you're Smiling' will get Claudia into the final. |

I think they can choose now - I remember Natalie Gumede doing her lower scoring dance in the DO.

Well, I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that i think if it's arranged like this it would make a good Strictly AT. Apologies to people who know anything about real AT, but I think it could work as the Strictly version. The QS music on the other hand is giving me real 'My Generation' flashbacks and I think is much worse.

I don't see how Ore will avoid the DO because the other three couples have at least one fab song each. I consider Ore has none. He does not Kara's popularity and his QS song is frantic. Neither Kylie or the Jack Lukeman version of her song are good for AT. Plus, which I'd like to emphasis, at this critical stage his song offerings are poor compared with the other three.
Who joins him in the DO is difficult to call. Has Claudia got sufficient backing since her DO a few weeks ago? What do the public make of Danny or Louise? The judges' marks will reflect who they want in the DO. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzet3-JciTA or this version... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTBs3vaVnvM either these would work. All it takes is a bit of imagination with the arrangement ![]() I've still got my fingers crossed for Ore, hope it works out great for him ![]() |

Kara did the Quickstep to Are You Gonna Be My Girl & did very well, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for Ore this time

Fair enough, I didn't remember it.
I think a lot depends on how well people dance at this stage. I think Louise and Danny are probably in the final and one of Claudia or Ore will go but I do think that support for both is conditional.

I think Ore's quickstep will be fine - was Jo's best dance in competition

So this is the best they could come up with for the semi final, is it? Whoever's responsible, line the culprits up against a wall - any offers to man the machine guns?
![]() Louise and Kevin were THE most favoured couple in Strictly history 7 days ago. Now, because of one dire music choice, we're going to start lining up people in order to shoot them. |
