1. The choice of potential post-Brexit options was definitely not on any referendum ballot paper; 2. Leaving the single market area would be the ultimate, extreme act of economic self destruction and it should quite simply not be allowed to happen no matter how much it upsets Brexit extremists. |

Need you be reminded of what was on the bit of paper you actually ticked the boxes in http://static3.uk.businessinsider.co...2013.48.09.png Oh no mention of the single market, immigration. It was a vote to leave the EU nothing else. People talked about what sort of deal it might be but all options where still on the table. |

Having access to the single market is not the same as being in the EU single market. How many more times do you have to be told?

^ Dissembling Alert! In order for the UK to have a certain, secure and prosperous economic future, the UK must have single market area membership like the various different arrangements that Switzerland, Iceland and Norway have. Trading with the EU on World Trade Organisation terms would leave the UK isolated and it would serve as a very effect inward investment deterrent as well as a very effective incentive for firms to relocate within the European single market area.

Gives it but doesn't like it back Cameron says we'll leave the single market if we vote Brexit. Britain votes for Brexit. Remoaners claim we didn't vote to leave the single market. Mmm'kay. |

a) In the EU? b) Not in the EU? I guess 'isolated' has taken on new meaning.. |

Which is 5% less than your own.

Most of those non-EU nations are in trading blocs in their own neighbourhoods. That's the way the world is in the 21st century.
But yes, you're right. Trading blocs. Few, since the collapse of the Soviet Union are in.. well, Unions that demand quite so much of their members. I do believe that once upon a time, the EU was a simple trading bloc as well, wasn't it? Oh for the good old days where Brussels didn't have quite so many candidates for the B-Ark. |

Have no idea what the Indian singer has to do with it though. Cameron told the truth. We believed him and voted accordingly. |

They mention having tariff free access to the European market not the single market. Not the same thing. Suggest you listen to what you post.
Have no idea what the Indian singer has to do with it though. Cameron told the truth. We believed him and voted accordingly. We are clear about what we want from Europe. We say: yes to the Single Market. Yes to turbocharging free trade. Yes to working together where we are stronger together than alone. Yes to a family of nation states, all part of a European Union |
