You could say that yes, but if it a country were to walk away from the Single Market, they would be the ones taking a big risk.
But you have no evidence to back that up?

The risk would be in the complete unknown. Nobody has ever quit the EEC/ EU before nor the the Single Market and tried to go it alone.

And replace it with what though? A right wing (or far left) Europe consisting of hard borders and nationalist minded states competing with each other sounds like it would be something much worse than what is currently in place. It certainly doesn't seem like a recipe for economic success and political stability,
You don't have to live in the same house as your friends, to have friends.

I suspect there are many Brexiters who are more interested in destroying the EU rather than ensuring a good future for the UK.
I strongly suspect this to be the case.
Also, in the same vein, there were more racists who voted for Brexit than who voted to remain, I'm yet to meet a racist remainer!

BBC 5 live had some of the key players from 1983 Greenland referendum and negotiation team. To say there had incredulous amusement at out our attempts thus far was an understatement and they literally had only fishing rights to renegotiate. The strategic importance of Greenland in the height of the cold war was the real deal breaker brokered by USA after 3 years of hard fruitless graft.

Any evidence of this or just a finger in the air piece of BS that would support your opinion of brexiteers?

Yup, just more typical nonsense from the people that like to be seen as loftier than everyone else in their viewpoints.

Not me. I voted OUT. I just want the UK to be OUT.

I wanted it to reform but it wouldn't.

So I wanted out.

I still hope it will reform.

As if by magic, Farage delivers the goods. It's not just about leaving the EU but wrecking it

It's not even new : he has been saying he wants to see the destruction of the EU since the day of the referendum.
