Just a question of when for Romesh surely? He has been on just about everything else.
Mel or Sue is another good shout as they could have more spare time next year. Other good shouts on this thread are Jess Ennis and Jermaine Jenas (or any other retired footballer) Also surely Dan Walker will get asked now he is on Breakfast?
Only issue for Dan Walker is that he doesn't work on Sundays.

He would have to be like Cinderella and make sure he was out of Elstree by midnight on Saturday

Yes, vis a vis Romesh. I'm just trying to think of ones who are actual possibilities rather than dream land wishes. I think Hardeep Singh Kohli would be hilarious, for instance, but he has that thing hanging over his head where he either did or didn't make a pest of himself to a BBC researcher. I think Jess Ennis is also dream land. Too big of an athletics star for Strictly, retired or not.

I don't watch any soaps or reality TV beyond Strictly, so am always pretty limited in these discussions!

!
Denise Lewis did it. I'd be frankly amazed if Jess doesn't some time in the next few years.

You.

I like you.

(Never happen in a million years, but I wouldn't mind watching him move. I still can't believe he's almost 60. The man does not age.)
He is the Doctor!!😜
Ah yes, it's that Time Lord genetics.

If Jermaine Jenas is the person I am thinking of, then yes, I think he would be a good choice.

I can't see it. She's not an outgoing type and doesn't particularly court public love. She's awash in sponsorship so doesn't need the money and I think turning up for the odd advert is about the limit of her interest in media. She will probably have another child as soon as she retires. I'd love to see her do it as I follow athletics and like to see athletes on Strictly. But I don't see it. It would be nice to be wrong!

Jade Jones is a possible Olympian. Not much cash in taekwondo.

Maybe Helen Glover? She did Superstars.

Dina Asher-Smith?
