This is why I would like BBC to release the voting figures. I loved Natalie and still haven't got over Abbey winning, but my guess would be Natalie came third. I thought Susanna was more popular than Natalie. Was Susanna ever in the DO??. Can't remember. I never saw those voting figures, so can't really comment.

Yes would love voting figures to be released, it'd be interesting to see.
It's partially, I believe, because it may put celebs off appearing what with egos, reps etc. |

Unlikely to happen as the BBC guard them religiously. Apparently, around three people only know the figures.

I think Susanna was the favourite to win.I am sure it must be more than three people. What about 'I am celeb ... get me out', do they publish the figures??. I read that somewhere, maybe it was tongue in cheek. |

I think Susanna was the favourite to win.. that Kevin was never in the DO until Kellie and he may not be again this year ..!Hope you ok. Missing you, Ochre and Lou from the forum as you're all in the blinkin' App thread for Laura, which I couldn't get behind though I agree now that she was stuffed by TPTB! |

All I want is an equal playing field for everyone. I think Lou has lost interest, I am getting there. I am only hoping things would get better once Len leaves.Who knows?? Whom are you supporting now??. BIB - More reasons for publication of the figures, to see who is being carried by the judges and who is being carried by the public. |

I don't know who to support now as Danny is a nice guy but he's an obvious winner, Louise is dull, Claudia is disappointing and Ore is a mixed bag. I'd Ike to get beind Ore as they seem to be engineering his exit, but I don't like him and Jo enough <sigh> so no one really. You? |

![]() This thread has got to be a troll thread - it's hit all the Clifton/producers/judges conspiracy theories and also name checked James Jordan as a factual source about anything Strictly, especially something Clifton related. No way is it serious. |

I miss our old thread I've lost a bit of interest this year now. Laura was so stuffed by TPTB and the social media nonsense from her "friends" and it made me very cross.Claudia for the win anyway! |

Others suggest the current producer has worsened the situation and the song choices do seem worse and they make such a difference, so ... not sure Len's leaving will improve things. Len seemed very supportive of Laura.

Good morning I think Lou should start another thread, so we can all hang out.Everybody I support seems to get eliminated, so not openly supporting anyone, but I am firmly on the 'Anyone but ...... for the win' battle bus. Seems like a losing battle. For me out of all four partners, I would have been ok with Kellie winning. If I had to place them, it would be 1) Kellie 2) Susanna 3) Frankie 4) Louise |

Another dance that can be categorised either way (although I tend to think of it as a ballroom as Charleston appears in the Quickstep) but don't remember the knives being out for him doing it as a latin last year I may remember it wrong though, as I have no desire to trawl through the forum to find out ![]() ![]() ![]()

I don't know who to support now
I have only had four or five years where I supported a particular couple and found the programme equally enjoyable, if not more so! No anxiety wondering if your favourite will get through. Anxiety wondering if they will mess it up!

he doesn't seem very favoured to me, more like the forgotten man of the series, between top class danny and people's choice ed and even judge R.
his american smooth in blackpool is my dance of the series so far, however little else has made a dent in the shiny razzmatazz of the others His American Smooth was week 3, singin' in the rain. |

I imagine Kevin and Jo were brought in because of their talent just like the other professionals.
![]() The Jordans weren't from the 'Burn the Floor' stable and had been the 'golden couple' for a while. Karen then Kevin being added to the show was a threat, and James ended up being pushed, mostly for being an arse backstage and in the media. I'm sure there was aggro on both sides, these are very competitive people, in an industry where you have to capitalise on a short shelf life. Are Ma and Pa Clifton influential in the industry? I don't know, but I doubt TPTB on Strictly would need to pander to them. They've reached the top of the greasy pole. If there is any preferential treatment (I don't think there is based on what I see on the telly) it will be influenced by marketing and focus groups. The BBC want to keep the ratings high, and their brand recognised and untarnished. They will push 'romance', plucky underdog who 'falls in love with dance', comedy turn, tropes that the audience will recognise and identify with (often to the cost of competitors who are shoe horned into a category and stuck there). |

Quite. They only 'conspiracy' that holds any water is that new professionals were being pulled from 'Burn the Floor', and in the case of Janette and Karen didn't have the ballroom chops. Jo, Oskana, Oti, Neil, Katya, AJ and Sophie (? How awful I can't remember her name).

I think if there is favouritism towards Kevin it's because he's recognisable, family friendly and capable of delivering a routinue to whatever tall order the producers want the pros to fortill this week - rap samba you say? no problem ![]() I didn't realise James was being an arse backstage too - any solid evidence on that?. He never did know when to shut his trap and it might have better served his interests to do so - hubbie never forgave him for what he said about the Sarge - but I do remember Brian Fortuna said him and Ola had actually been quite welcoming when he first started on the show along with Brendan who is someone else who you might necessarily think that of. |

It doesn't seem fair all the celebs this week have to do one Latin and one ballroom apart from him.
Can't help think they want him in the final so have give him the dances that suit him best as the samba wouldn't suit him. Think they pushing for a Clifton final. But then what is? Mind you, anyone who thinks the producers do not try and push the result is living in a dream world.
