If you keep making stuff up we can't debate. So where was "Islamophobe" my word?

And nor can we debate if you've not read the article you're citing.

The Remoaners can wait another 40 years for their rematch, just as the losing side in 1975 had to.

Okay, I agree that in post 202 you described him as being obsessed with Islam rather than an Islamaphobe (which is what you meant, even though you didn't say it because I'm aware you're very careful with your choice of words), but what difference does that make to the future of Europe? Likewise, you're taking the article out of context because it suits your purposes to not debate the issue. All we're supposed to do is listen to your sermon on the mount. There is no debate in your mind, because everyone either agrees with you or they're wrong. You really don't get the bigger picture and I pity you.

Yes, I am careful with my choice of words, so I say what I mean and I mean what I say and not something else.

I can only debate if you make a point that's backed up by the evidence you cite, you have yet to do that. When you do if I disagree I'll debate it.

Meanwhile here's a few more flaws in Prof Ferguson's argument to ponder on. He criticises the EU's response to the migrant crisis without as far as I can tell explaining what the EU could have done better, without showing how the response would have been better had the EU not existed and without acknowledging that the EU had no part in creating the cause of the crisis, the conflict in Syria.

That's clearly nonsense. What is true is that there has been a lack of respect towards the opposing side by a small minority on both sides of the argument.

Quote:
“The country has been run for the benefit of a minority for far too long now, same as in the US, which is why we have Trump, and why we have Brexit.”

So who do you think is going to benefit from Trump and Brexit? A different minority?
