Yep.... the usual lowest common denominator predictable rubbish, fake sincerity, lack of imagination and a generous helping of the worst music ever made, force fed to those who know no better.

In an attempt to liven up the thread, here's a question.

Which Global people would you sit around a table with if you were there? I'd get Steve Allen (won't be going, but anyway) and James O'Brien together and listen to them play with each other for a while, Steve saying how good the Magical Hour is, and James being his usual, then I'd walk off and sit with Clive Bull and have a pint.

The Chris Moyles show is starting at 7.30am due to this and is recorded for the first 30 minutes before being live at 8 according to Rich Walters on overnights.

I listened to a few Global stations on the morning after, and it seems to make for interesting content. Moyles was on form!

The Christmas party thing is actually great, if they can draw out some interesting stories about what happened and maybe insert some juicy gossip.

But, listening back to Thursday, we got the predictable 'how hungover are we?' / 'is Pippa still drunk?'

The whisky content isn't particularly engaging, either. Dave has to drink whisky in the morning. Poor Dave. Nothing else happens. Got to get better than this, Chris.

Jon Holmes did a great bit on his Saturday Breakfast show last year when he found out that Con had got off with someone at the party. They then had a game of guessing who it was before Ronnie an intern on the show guessed correctly. They then got Con to spill what happened and found that they had got a uber and the girl had lost her shoe with con having to text the driver the next day to find out if he had it.

Typing it here it doesn't sound that funny but when he did it on air it was very funny especially as they used the Mr Lonely song as the bed.

EDIT: Heres the audio at 5:40 https://player.fm/series/jon-holmes-...ith-jon-holmes
