Apart from go on here of course. I read, write, travel, go for days out, watch movies etc.

Just wondered what other people here do in free time, if they do anything interesting.

In the summer, or at least dry, sunny days, I'll spend a good few hours every other day cycling; there's some lovely views around here once your escape the town areas and potholes. In the colder, winter months it's more running/gym (though I do this in the summer too, just more cycling).

Then there's films, obviously, days out with friends, occasional PS4 gaming (my games are literally limited to Black Ops 3 & GTA 5). I've got some crazy ideas that I'd love to write about (my own little set of books) but I'd never know where to start or go about creating an entire story, which is a shame.

Otherwise, it's pretty much like the more common person; wake up, go to work, get home, relax. Rinse & Repeat. The exceptions are the weekends when I try to get out, even if it's just a walk.

I don't do anything very productive. Mainly listen to the radio, watch TV, mess around on the internet. I go out to the theatre/opera/music/galleries fairly often (perk of living in London) but if I'm in I just waste my time.

When I was working that took up most of my time anyway. Now I'm not working I'm spending hours looking for a new job as I will have to be earning again in the new year.

I play video games, watch YouTube, watch TV, watch movies on my home cinema, take my dogs for at least an hours walk every day of the week. Plus the odd bit of DIY when I get the urge. I do like being retired.

Suppose it depends on my mood but generally -

Walking, probably one of my most time consuming hobbies. I love a good walk and almost always do at least 10,000 steps every day. The highest I've done is 31,000 which if I remember correctly was around 15 miles. In the week it is harder so generally do around the 10,000 mark but weekends can be around 20,000 mark

Gym, I do walk to the gym too. I use the pool early week day mornings and gym in the evenings weekend or late week.

Further education. I've just finished my level 3 AAT qualification which I've taken up much of my time especially cramming in 4 exams in just under 5 months.

I will also go shopping, watch TV, post online, see my family and friends but the three above certainly have occupied most my free time recently.

I write letters and love to buy hand-crafted stationery if I like the design. I should look you up!

Walking, watching TV/DVDs, photography, going to the pub, keeping up with latest railway developments and computer security, talking to friends on the phone, listening to music (mostly on YouTube), reading history books, studying maps/atlases, watching live rock music at a local pub.

Less often. Watching live cricket at The Oval, fishing, day trips to London.
