Fashion One was removed from Freesat about two weeks ago.

Yesterday it was removed from Sky EPG 257 and is currently showing a static screen with the message "This Service is Currently Unavailable".

Full tale of what's happening here:

http://www.fashion.tv/posts/read/36690

The caption does say currently not available.

I wonder if either Fashion TV HD or Fashion 4K is coming to replace Fashion One?

If not, can we receive Eurobird 9 in the UK?

It says Fashion One has acquired Fashion TV, so if anything they're getting bigger but perhaps not broadcasting in the UK any more.

Fashion TV itself was on Sky years ago as a free channel, then they left following a 'dispute' with Sky, it later returned as a subscription channel, then in 2010 was removed again. It never returned to the UK but continued to broadcast elsewhere.

AIUI, Fashion One are going to use the Fashion TV branding and close Fashion One.

I remember the Fashion TV shenanigans, it was a bit like situation has been for Motors TV.

Fashion TV had returned as a subscription channel when I last had Sky. I did read that it had been removed again and assumed that Sky had kicked them out of the Sub Club and that they would return FTA.

From what you say, it never did. Fashion One must have opened/joined to pick up its audience. Did it join the Sky EPG soon after the departure of Fashion TV?

Ironic that they might be using the Fashion One slot to bring back Fashion TV again!

Virgin Media carry Fashion TV in the ROI, but AFAIK it's not available on any of the UK platforms.

The link to Fashion One you posted is over a year old and yje rebrand didn't happen on 28E. Fashion 4K is on Astra 1 at 19.2E, Fashion (HD) is on Hotbird 13E and Rutelsat 8 at 9E.
All FTA and should be receivable on a 60cm dish in most of the UK.

Thanks for the information.

I find it odd that they haven't put Fashion TV onto the more DTH friendly Astra satellite, guess there's still a possibility though now that Fashion One has closed on there.
