Just embrace it Remainers. We know Brexiteers are dictators. They aren't interested in any point of view which contradicts their extremist views. They have forgotten that we live in a representative democracy whereby the views of minorities are listened to and respected and adopted (partly) into policy. The fact that we are robustly challenging this Brexit nonsense is democracy in action. Are us Remainers going anywhere? No we are not.
I find it absolutely fascinating from so many of your posts the way you take what you want to believe or how you think and project it all onto someone else.

Leave voters aren't dictating anything, they are merely abiding by the result of a democratic exercise which some Remainers seem incapable of doing and who aren't interested in any point of view which contradicts their rather unhealthily undemocratic views.

Can you provide the details of how the Out voters in 1975 were listened to, respected and their views adopted (partly) into policy? That is the direct equivalent of what you seem to want done now.

If ever a post summed up the stupidity of Brexiters, this is it. You voted Out - you sort it out. Why should I help you damage my own position? You really are a bunch of small-minded clowns.
That's the spirit! Ask not what you can do for your country, but what's in it for you!

Don't want to be called a "remoaner"?

Then stop moaning. Simple.

PS: No, I will fight to the bitter end to stop this nonsense. For the moment, it is better to do little and watch the car crash unfold. We will be revoting in 2020 and hopefully, there will be no rigging of the franchise this time.
. O.K. if that's what you want, perhaps we could ask all the remainers to keep their noses out of the negotiations then.
or, perhaps we could all accept the result and work together to get the best possible deal for the UK.

Nope. Some of us our voicing legitimate complaints at the attempts to undemocratically overturn the decision but that is not moaning.

Over the years the Common Market was transformed into a monolithic political union and many people didn't like the fact that they were never given a say on whether it should have. Being 'sceptic' about something is perfectly valid if what was voted for originally by 20+ years later bore no relation to what was being created without any agreement by the people.
So, we never had a General Election between 1975 and 2016? We voted in a series of pro-EU governments pushing for change (the Tories pushed for the Single Market). This is just another Brexit lie from ignorami, who know nothing about the subject, but reckon they should direct it.

yes, fine, you get on with it - what will you do when it finishes up in a complete car crash. Oh, I know, tell more lies about straight bananas and blame the EU.

Why should we accept the result voted by stupid people, who do not even seem to have a clue about what they want? Are you suggesting by-elections should not be contested?

There have been no attempts to do that. Just moaning from leavers who wanted national sovereignty and then moan when it is put into action.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but just looking at DaveMBA posts on this one page is enough to show why a small vocal section of remainers have been branded " remoaners".
He can't string a sentence together without abusing people.
Do you have a form of turrets Dave ?

I hear he suffers terribly from battlements, and despite all the ointment, his portcullis still gives him terrible trouble.

Now to be fair us leavers would never pick people up on spelling errors!

What does surprise me is that standards for getting an MBA seem to have been lowered dramatically. I blame the EU!

Proud to have voted leave even though I am apparently stupid and even evil!

Remoaner is nothing compared to the patronising insults, intellectual snobbery and general abuse brexiteers have had to put up with. This is exactlying why the vote went the way it did. The EU has the same attitude towards us mere peasants

well, what a hotch-potch of a reply. where to start?

1. when it becomes a car crash? psychic are we? can i have todays winning lottery numbers please?

2. i can blame the EU for a lot of things but if all you can think of is bananas, well i'll leave that with you.

3. in a democracy the result of a vote is accepted. calling those who voted a different way to you, stupid, does your argument no good at all. try asking those who voted brexit, why they voted brexit, you may actually find out why and what they want.

4. what are you wittering on about re by-elections?

The good ones haven't - it is just a large chunk of our population that lack the capacity to understand complex subjects and thus, do not have one.

Really? I don't think so - there are a few (well one in particular) who considers themselves remarkably 'clever'.
