Tesco Hudl 1 Charging Battery
When I try to connect the tablet to the PC to charge, it reduces the battery power, when I use a plug, it doesn't, can anyone help?

Charge it through 2amp charger only.
PC USB are 0.5amp, not suitable for tablets and large smart phones. |

The mains charger probably supplies several times the current of a PC port so can potentially charge the tablet up faster. So it might take the mains charger an hour (for example) to fully charge the tablet but on a PC port it could take 4 hours. So if you are used to taking it off charge after an hour but have been using a PC port you may find it is only 1/4 charged. If the tablet can show the charge percentage then you could get a feel for the difference between the mains charger and PC port by putting it on charge and checking the readout at fixed intervals and noting how it changes. Chances are it charges much faster on the mains charger than a PC port. |

Then the tablet would not be using any stored power and the PC would be adding to it (slowly) |

It's quite possible your battery is on the way out. I think mine is too.
