Good on Santa for being honest. The kid is fat, i'm sorry there's no getting around it. I can't even understand what the mother is saying. The son isn't that much better

He could have broached it in a tactful way... "and if you lay off the fries next year you might get a hoverboard". Everyones a winner.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

I think that's appalling. The fact that people think this is acceptable says it all.

Doctors certainly wouldn't make personal comments about someone's appearance. In any case it's not the business of a jumped up pathetic man pretending to be Santa to comment. |

A doctor would most probably speak to the parents about it and advise them on a better diet for their child. I doubt any doctor would make derogatory remarks to a nine year old child |

To be fair, the kid does look like a bit of a heifer.

There's a time and place for everything. Visiting Santa is neither of those for telling someone they're fat.
Kids go see Santa because they're excited about Christmas, not for dietary and lifestyle advice or to be made to feel like crap. It would be like a woman going to get a pedicure or manicure at the salon and the employee there telling her to lay off the burgers and fries if she's obese. It is neither their business nor their concern. Same with Santa, he's meant to spread cheer and joy. This guy's a knob. |
