SAARA AALTO has some real star power on her side, with ADAM LAMBERT joining her on stage.

The American Idol star and Australian X Factor judge – who is also QUEEN’s new lead singer – is expected to perform Bohemian Rhapsody with the unlikely bookies’ favourite.

Also, Nicole Scherzinger will perform with Matt Terry and looks like Louisa Johnson & Clean Bandit will perform with 5AM. Read more from that same column.

Ugh, no! How I HATE that song! Much screeching and wailing, then.

This performance could make or break Saaras chances of winning. Depends how she pulls it off with Adam Lambert.

I think the Matt and Nicole combination, could go either way, Nicole has in the past dominated these performances. I remember when she sang with Sam Bailey, same with Jameine Douglas.

If she lets Matt sing it could be good

5AM,Clean bandit and Louisa Johnson, i am not a huge fan of this particular duet, although 5AM will certainly try and make it into a good moment,

You clearly havent heard Adam Lambert sing it then!

The problem with it on any Talent Show, is the edit, Bohemian Rhapsody is 5 minutes 50 sec, they only usually have 1 min 30 sec!

I loathe that song regardless of who sings it.

Yes, that is certainly one of the problems.

That's a terrible song for X Factor! One, it's too long as has been pointed out, and two, it's just too iconic, I would't go near it with a barge pole! Unless you are absolutely incredible, people will notice and think it went horribly - the bar is too high, just decent or pretty good won't do, it has to be phenomenal. Too risky IMO.

I would have loved for them to do Who Wants to Live Forever, I think that would be way more suitable.

I am against a Matt win, but seriously Nicole again!? She's gotta learn to take a backseat.

Surely someone wants to duet with Matt, every seems to be saying No! Harry Styles would have him win. If he does do Adele All I Ask he will win it!

I still think a Sara win is possible despite their attempts to ruin it for her. She must be winning the votes the last few weeks surely. The Eurovision song is a poor choice!

This will be interesting as seriously anyone could win this, i think 5AM will win it and depending on how good of a night they have it'll be Matt v Sara. I can't see how to market them both at all!

Yes he did, and by touring with Queen I'd say he is probably one of the few who can cover Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody succesfully. I'm not giving up on them, it might be quite epic moment for the show if both perform at their best abilities.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a bit of a risk. But so was The Winner Takes It All- a song that has been butchered by everyone who has ever tried it on one of these shows and it turned her into a contender for the win.

I'm worried, because BR is one of those songs you shouldn't really cover. But then there's been so many instances on show where the song seemed awful for Saara and she absolutely smashed it so if anyone can pull it off its her and Adam. I'd have preferred the earlier rumour of Who Wants To Live Forever but if she pulls of Bohemian Rhapsody there's no stopping her for the win surely?

Its a very well written song and tips its hat to Freddies classical roots. You probably hate it because its been over done.

Bohemian Rhapsody seems a bit overly ambitious for the extremely limited time they will have to rehearse it.

I kinda hope it's not Bohemian Rhapsody.
Or if it is Bohemian Rhapsody, I kinda hope that Brian May come on from the wings for the guitar solo.
(he has been ill, but seemingly is recovering, so you can't completely rule it out)

Adam seems a really decent kind of guy with contestants though! Remember this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6KdTQc1I5A

This has the potential to be disasterous or fantastic. I hope it's the latter.

It's such a huge song. I'm equally nervous as I am excited.

Adam Lambert is an excellent singer so I can imagine a duet with Sara being fantastic. I wonder which song they will perform though as Adam has never really had a big hit in the UK. Unless they choose a Queen track?
I knew it.

Poor Saara then, given the G4 treatment.

How does Bohemian Rhapsody work as a duet? I'm too used to it as a solo with backing.

Each will likely take turns singing. I don't think it'll be a proper duet where they're singing to each other, just that they'll take turns.

No, I always hated it. You're right, though, it has been overdone, which makes matters worse.
