This is why I'm not particularly concerned if she "wont make it in the charts". This was from someone in the audience last night:
Sara was definitely liked the most by the crowd and the people around me seemed to like her the best, I overheard a few people stanning for her (And as I've watched about 2 episodes this season and went with people who also hadn't been watching, she was the most popular among us too for what it's worth). The crowd started chanting her name at one point which didn't happen for the others, dunno if that was overheard live. I was kinda surprised Matt stayed because the crowd didn't seem to care as much for him as 5AM, but 5AM's duet was a bit of a flop compared to the others I suppose. She knows how to perform live, like that duet, and I suspect its going to become really obvious on the XF Tour. Touring seems to be where the money is these days. |

That's good to hear, Saara has stage presence, and personality, plus a big voice. Where's Matt is the complete opposite, imo. |

It was a decent performence. I expected more drama, theatre and circus ot those two. But it was ok.

I thought he was trying to upstage her when he got up on the piano, but she joined him, so I guess it was alright.
Must admit, together, they looked and sounded pretty good.

I noticed at one point the camera had a tight closeup of them holding hands. I wonder what the purpose of that was.

Saara & Adam sounded like a proper duet between two singers.
I'm seeing a lot of praise for Purple Rain but as soon as Nicole joined Matt on stage, it very quickly became a Nicole Scherzinger feat. Matt Terry performance with Matt playing second fiddle. They might've bonded throughout the whole competition but as a duet, it wasn't a very convincing one. Nicole's vocal range is so extraordinary, very few people can duet with those vocals and come off looking impressive. The disaster that was Clean Bandit, Louisa & 5AM must be one of the worst live final duets in 13 series. It really was horrendous!!! This is coming from someone who likes the song Tears, but 5AM destroyed it.

Reading comments about the duets I almost wish we'd seen Nicole paired up with Saara. I bet when Nicole did her usual Saara would have thought "not on my watch!" and fought back. It might have been interesting to hear.

that was the best duet of the night, the singers were well matched& IMO it was the best in the duet round, they shut it down and then revived it
