I wonder if it's the same person who bet £30k on Honey G being eliminated. If Saara wins they're gonna be mega rich after Sunday night

Wow! Saara is clearly the best contestant and definitely deserves to win but I'm not sure I'd put 10k on the British public getting it right.

Pity they didn't place that bet when she was 125/1, they'd be looking at 1,250,000-00!

Depends how much money you had to start with.

Also depends whether the person concerned actually thinks she'll win or not.

Well if it's true she's going to be teamed with Adam Lambert - that could be the knock out punch. Meanwhile Matt gets to sing with James Arthur. Kiss of death imo.

Could be people who placed large bets on Matt trying to cover themselves.

I guess time will tell if it's madness.

If it was based on talent I'd stake 30k as well because she's clearly the best but I haven't got enough faith in the British public to vote for the most talented act to risk even a tenner.

id never be mad enough to bet 10k and the risk of losing it all on someone having a 1 in 3 shot of winning a TV show

Do not trust the PR of bookmakers. They do not lay these types of bets but they never miss the opportunity to make out they do just for some extra publicity.

If Saara won it would be the bookies worst nightmare come true, they have already started trying to change peoples opinions.

Comments such as any of the other two acts can win (which may be true), right down to someone betting 10K.

Just watch the market change in Matts favour come the final, always find the build up to the X Factor final interesting especially from the bookmakers.

To be honest it wouldn't really. It's not a big market for them and is nothing in comparison to a favourite winning a big horse race.

You are presuming the person is expecting her to win. Some of my biggest wins betting have been bets I knew wouldn't win but I just needed the odds to drop.
