Prince Andrew has ask the Queen and Prince Charles if his two daughters can have higher statuses and be paid for, from the public purse.

He thinks his daughters should be treated the same as Prince William and Harry.

Andrew has ask Charles if his daughters husbands can become an Earl, as he fears his grandchildren will be commoners.

He has complained that Eugenie & Beatrice should have apartments in Kensington Palace where William and Harry have apartments, rather than smaller apartments where they live in St James Palace.

Should Andrews daughter,s be given the same accommodation as William & Harry?
Should they and their future families, be paid for from the public purse?

Andrew is the only Royal to demand his children have higher statuses, as he fears that without them, they wont be considered aristocratic & be mere commoners.
Anne and Edward haven't made such demands.

Charles thinks only Harry, William and Kate should be paid for by the public and have the most public roles.

What's the matter with is this arrogant , self important man with a distorted sense of entitlement ? He's been doing a lot of bleating about upping his daughters status.
They don't need titles
They need to earn the respect of the public
They are perfectly capable of making their own way in the world, having had a good education, and getting a degree

Apparently The Queen has refused Andrew's demands anyway and Andrew's furious.

Why are people saying they are surprised at agreeing with Charles.

He's a bit left field, but generally he's fine.

Andrew on the other hand is a dick

I think Andrew and his girls get an unfair bashing. Eugenie especially comes across as a nice level headed girl and is active in charity work, I remember her talking to some children in hospital and she was rather sweet talking about her own back operation and scars. Beatrice comes across as a nice girl but a bit dim. They are doing no different to the likes of other rich children living off their trust funds.

Personally I don't think any of them should have titles anyway.

This has came about again, as his daughter is now in a relationship.

I agree they don't need another title.
All the Queen,s grandchildren have the HRH title, but that isn't passed down to their children.

Thy are much further away from the throne now, therefore they should,nt be treated the same as the future Kings/Queens.

Ongoing I'd say. Could be quite frosty at Sandringham this Christmas.

If he wants a title he should win it in a match like ever other champion has to.

They should be thankful their rent free.

Kate, William and Harry will need bigger apartments, as they will do more entertaining & have more staff.
That,s apart from them being the children of the next King.

And it will still be better than 99% of the average population could ever dream of.

There was a repeat recently of the documentary about the Queen at 90, and it was clear that Yorky and his daughters were given extra roles. Very little Anne, and no Edward but loads of space for this lots
I think that rather than giving the girls titles, Andrew should be stripped of the York title, he does bugger all work. The title could then go straight to Harry which will be his one day
Andrew has enjoyed the advantages of being the Queen' favourite, a situation which has the end in sight
