All sls are contrived or there wouldn't be any 'drama' - I just wish they weren't all so repetitive and a bit more imaginative.

I think the story is interesting but I don't think Aiden loves Maria or Eva, he proved that when he asked Maria to be his side piece which I thought was hilarious. To me Aiden is out to smash as many females as possible and is not interested in settling down with anyone.

I agree. Aidan is not that into Eva he never has been, the idea of moving in together horrified him. He's obviously not that interested in Maria either suggesting they have an affair rather than become a proper couple. I hope both women see the light and dump this loser.

I do think Aidan loves Maria but he's not willing to admit it right now. He's behaviour on Monday was shocking though. I agree with the previous poster who said he never wanted to settle down with Eva - she nagged him into it and coupled with his guilt over sleeping with Maria he gave in.

I agree. Its funny cuz at first Aiden seemed like a decent guy but I'd say since this summer (about when Kate Oates took over) he changed and has become a player.

It was 89 and trust me guys do keep count. There was former NBA player Wilt Chamberlain who said he slept with over a thousand women, so if he can keep track that high 89 is nothing.

Over a certain number people stop keeping exact score. Or at least the people I know who are into treble figures (& I know a few, male and female) tell me so and it makes sense to me.

I'd be rather worried about the mental stability of somebody that knows the exact number off the top of their head like that. Either they are Autistic to some degree or I imagine them to have some kind if trophy collection somewhere!

Whilst I don't actually think 89 is incredibly high for somebody in their mid 30s if they haven't had long term rekationshops, just short term flings or one night stands,I do think it was more than possible that he said 8 or 9 assuming it would be more than Eva and then when it wasn't, he felt embarrassed and didn't correct her mishearing him.

I think it's hard to say for sure what he said as the diction isn't ckear. Reasonable cases to be made for both figures.

ETA a rough idea of how many into 4 figures, yes. I've had chats with people that have said, over 1000, probably about 1200 but an exact figure, 1,347 without even needing to take a minute to think back, remember, calculate, I think wpuld be very unusual. If for no other reason that often alvohol will have been involved with one night stands so details are hazy. Plus it is going back decades, even if onky Aidans age.

I just played the scene again - it was 8 or 9 - Eva reacted as she did because she thought he said 89.

His not being that experienced with women might explain his seemingly rattish behaviour now - as I think another poster said, he's confused about his feelings and not sure how to deal with them or what to do.

You need to watch it again, he said 89, she looked at him shocked and said 89?!!! Eighty (something) Nine!!!! Eva was clearly upset. Plus at the beginning Aiden said he doubted Eva's number was higher than his. I even think she was mad at him after this.

Totally agree. Don't find Aiden attractive in the slightest and he's such a gormless bore as well.
